  1. I just recently had surgery on March 19th. I must agree about their program being awesome.. I was banded by Dr. Johnsrud. I also had a private room and the burses were great. The best part about the program is the support groups. They are the 1st and 3rd tuesday of the month. Natalie and Heidi are great also. Anytime you have a question just give them a call.
  2. Well i was banded on March 19th and came home today. When I got out of surgery I was in no pain. I did take pain medication last night to help me sleep. I had some pain in my left shoulder and in my port area. I feel pretty good. Not really hungry at all. Thank goodnes for ice chips and sugarfree popsicals... I will most likely take some pain meds to help me sleep tonight at home. Walking is good fro the gas. I can't wait to take a shower tomorrow morning.
  3. The first 5 days were the toughest for me. You can do it. Just remember this is for your health.. Stay stong
  4. Nurselori I'm sure you are in good hands. I will be praying for all of us getting banded. Can't wait
  5. The avenue is a nice store to shop at. Quality clothes.. Like Angie said ""I won;t miss shopping there" I reallly want to buy a nice dress from Ann Taylor..(outlet store of course) LOL
  6. I can't wait to fit into the "swings" again. I remember going on a roller coaster with my dad before he had gastric bypass. He was large enough to make me feel safe. He held me down quite nicely. Now he has lost 200 pounds and I hold him down nicely. Can't wait for the day to come that both of us feel like we are going to fall out!

I tried it for awhile. Some of the food is ok and some of it does taste like dog food. I still have some left if you would like to try it. The program work pretty well for a short period of time. I lost 20 and then I gained it back. The program gets to be really expensive
  8. The first 5 days of liquids were the hardest for me.. I keep hearing everyone from my support group say that if you can make it throught the pre-banding diet, you can make it after!
  9. Good Luck!!! Just think only 4 more days of liquids until you are banded!! YEAH
  10. Just breath in and breath out.. You are ready for this change in your life. You can do it. Just 2 days sooner to a new and healthier you! Good Luck!
  11. I am ready! I'm getting really excited. Not nervous at all. Good luck to everyone
  12. A good pair of walking shoes!
  13. Just think only 6 more days left on the liquid diet. I know after banding its another 2 weeks, but we can do it! Here's to being healthy!
  14. Good luck to everyone! I have been on the liquid diet now for 6 days. It has gotten better. The first 4 days were tough. I am so jealous of the people who don't have to do the 2 week pre-op diet. One more week till banding. Have fun on your cruise!
  15. This website is full of information. Good luck with your surgery...
