I have been away from LBT for about three months, and I am back now.....to stay. I have had my ups and downs in the last three months. One thing is that the job I had...was eliminated, so they had to give me my previous job....which requires me to be on the road a lot, and by the time I get home I am tried and just want to go to bed. I was banded on 4 February 2008, so I am coming up on my band-versary. And I need support!!!
  2. I agree with you Fenton.....at the beginning I was losing weight like crazy, but it has slowed down a little, but I am determine to keep working at it. We have lost almost the same amount of weight.
  3. Don't worry about the scales....you need to focus on NSV (none scale victories) for example loose clothing....I have went from a size 50-52 and is currently wearing 40-42, but I still want to lose more weight. Be encouraged!
  4. First welcome to the forum. The best advice I can offer you is to exercise, exercise, exercise!
  5. It seems like the last little bit is harder to come off, but I am going to keep on it.
  6. Welcome to the site.....you will find valuable information on the site. Congrats on your surgery!
  7. I agree with everyone....the main thing is to walk, walk, walk, and even when you don't feel like it walk!
  8. Welcome to the site......like Fenton said previously the best thing you can do for the gas is to walk..walk..walk!

PRCowboy: Welcome to the band.....keep up with the program and you will greatly benefit from the surgery if you decide to go through with the surgery.
  10. Since I have lost over 70 lbs......people are coming up to me saying I am looking good...and one lady at church asked me was I looking for a girlfriend.
  11. Welcome to the site.................
  12. Congrats Mickers!!!! I know the feeling.........all of my clothes are falling down even when I wear my belt! I really don't want to buy a lot of clothes because I am not where I want to be yet!
  13. Just hang in there......don't throw the towel in yet.....just tie a knot in the towel and hang in there!
  14. Welcome to the BAND family!!!!
