  1. Awesome progress! And beautiful family! Keep up the good work!!
  2. That's great!!! Congrats! Can't wait to get there! I just checked....I'm at 41.9, so still morbidly obese. But not for long!
  3. Wow!! You look sooo good, girl! You were beautiful before, you're gonna be stoppin traffic soon!
  4. Wow! Ditto on what everyone else said! You look amazing!!
  5. I thought I was the only one who did that. I am so bad with it when I'm chatting or messaging. And you're right...it's like a pause. LOL
  6. I hear ya, Little Miss Band-Aid! Why is it the boobs and butt go first? NSVS: I've gone from a 26/28 to a 22 in jeans. Some 22's are even loose. Can't wait to get into a 20. I can't remember the last time I wore that size! My stomach doesn't touch the steering wheel in the car anymore. I finally put the sleep apnea machine in the closet. Don't think I'll be needing it anymore! Before surgery, I had heartburn almost daily. I ate Zantac or Tums like candy. I don't remember the last time I had heartburn! I'm so glad to be rid of that!!
  7. Tara, you have such an amazing smile! Great pics! You are beautiful inside and out!!
  8. Thanks for the compliments! No secret really, I lost a lot of it in the very beginning in the liquids and mushies stages. I plateaued for a while, lost a little more, etc. I try to get plenty of protein and stay away from carbs and sugar, though I am certainly no angel in this area! This last fill has helped tremendously. I have 5cc's in a 10cc band, and sometimes it's hard to get things down. I finally feel some real restriction, so I eat less, and I'm less tempted. If I don't chew my food well, it hurts like hell going down. You all are doing great, too! There are some others on here who have lost as much or more than me!
  9. Taismommy, I sure hope you feel better soon. I had my gallbladder out about 8 years ago, but I still remember the pain, curled up on the bathroom floor thinking for sure I was going to die. I'm glad they found it and got it fixed. I'm sure you'll be feeling better in no time!
  10. Wow! I always admire someone with this kind of talent! Especially since I have zero in that area. Keep up the good work and keep sharing them!
  11. This is me in October 2007, 4 months before surgery, and me as of yesterday. I'm still trying to get through reading the threads I've missed. I'm sorry for staying away so long! Hope the pic's not too big!
  12. Hey Guys! I know it has been a while, and I apologize for staying away so long. I popped back in to update my ticker, and I've been trying to get through all the posts I've missed. I will write more later, but I just wanted to say hi and let you all know I'm still here. I've had some ups and downs since I was here last. I lost a lot right after surgery, then plateaued for an eternity it seemed. I just got fill number 3, and I can finally feel good restriction. (Almost too good) I sometimes have a hard time even getting soft stuff to go down, especially in the morning. Since I got this last fill, I finally started losing again. I have so many NSV's and other things to share, but I'll read everyone else's posts first. I hope you all are doing well! I've missed you all!!
  13. Hey Stacey, I tried adding you, but I need your last name or email address. PM me or send me a friend request. Thanks, Kelli
  14. My doc didn't give any pre-fill instructions, but after a fill we're supposed be on 2 days of clear liquids, 2 days of full liquids, and 2 days of mushies. I did do liquids the first day, but I started on mushies the 2nd day. I seem to be getting everything down fine.
  15. It's probably a combination of hormones, full moon, and psychosis. If it helps, I'm a psycho, too!!
  16. Had inventory at work this weekend. Worked some really long hours and ate really bad stuff. Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit Saturday morning. KFC for lunch (the company provided). And a few miniature Snickers. Another biscuit today and a small bag of chips this afternoon. I had a protein shake and yogurt in the fridge, but I chose to eat with everyone else. I'm not going to beat myself up, but I dread lookin at the scale in the morning. You know...even after getting a 2cc fill last week, all of that food went down just fine. I do get full quicker than pre-band and a little quicker than pre-fill. But if I make choices like I did this weekend, I'm defeating the purpose!
  17. Go figure! How dare they? Guess we'll have to gang up on them and start up some different conversations. Let me know when you wanna meet up in chat!
  18. Man...I didn't think about that...lol. Guess I'll conduct my own study. I'll get back to y'all. :tongue_smilie:
  19. Yay! I thought about you, too! I'm glad it's over and I'll be glad when I can eat some real food again!
  20. I don't know, but I'm willing to participate in the clinical trial to find out.
  21. Yep...that's what the doc said, too. Warm compress. And if Tylenol didn't help, try a little Motrin. He (actually the PA) didn't seem to think it was a big deal. He did say I might want to avoid that type of "exercise" for a couple of days...lol.
  22. Gibson, I went in there a couple of times, but never said anything and never stayed long. Everyone seemed friendly and were chatting away, though. I just didn't jump in.
  23. Have to put your last name or email addy to add you. Can you send me a request, please? Thanks!
  24. I sent friend requests to Karen, Jaime, and ReadySteadyGo. Here's mine: MySpace.com - Kelli - 37 - Female - LEXINGTON, South Carolina - www.myspace.com/12stepn
