umm OB wins and your surgeon should know that! Track your calories can you get in 1500??

I have PCOS and went thru years and years of fertility treatments, surg, and drugs to get me pg. Finally after 4 years got baby number one then 2 years later my daughter with the same drug. THen I got my band and lost 60 lbs and now I am pg without any fertility meds at all. So yes it may improve your fertility!

Congrats on your pg Bandser 07! I guess we never really know what will happen with our bands with pregnancy or without pg! Just do your best to take care of it the best you can. UPDATE! I had my first OB appt today and all went well. THe HB was 170's He thought I was measuring a month ahead but I sorta doubt I am further along.

My question is if you are only 3 days post op why didnt they run an HCG on you in the hospital?!? It is a routine test given to everyone 50 and under that hasnt had a hysterectomy where I work! That is crazy. Congrats but do talk to the Dr about what kind of anesthesia you had durning surg and make sure all the meds you had operatively are ok with baby!

I am ok, my surgeon took out .8 cc and I still have good restriction but I can eat comfortably about a cup of food, that is more that I have eaten in months and months and months. It feels good, although I still have some heartburn and I can feel my band some especially if I am laying on my side. How is everyone doing???

Well my port is easily accessible now that I have lost some weight, my Dr has never used Floro, but I dont think some people realize that Floro is an XRAY! You cant do that with the baby anyway, at least you really are not suppose too. I also dont like being exposed to all those xrays anyway so I would opt to have a dr try first. My Dr has never missed so far. Mine is easy though. Although yesterday when the nurse was preping me she felt for the port and said wow yours is really under you rib. I giggled and said actually no that was my rib- I have them now! She laughed too!

Got in this morning they took out .8 cc so far I feel better. Time will tell- he said it was common and I will probably have to get more out later as baby grows!

I am almost 8 weeks and I have lost 2 lbs as of this morning.

LOL Nikki- I have the same bowel problem. Well I got an unfill today! .8cc WOW that seems like such a lot! but I CAN EAT! Praise the LORD! I thought I was going to starve to death! LOL and baby too! My surgeon said he kinda expects this and I still have 1.5 cc in my band so it may do it again as the baby grows and he said just come back and we will take more out. I also found out he does not charge for unfills! Wow I didnt know that. Well lets hope I dont pile on the pounds yet. I would like to maintain for a while yet. I am going to pick up on the work outs some. I have only been going about 20 min or so I am going to try and bump it to 30. Sometimes I am just too tired all together.

I was told I didnt have to get my fill out as long as I got lots of protein and wasnt having morning sickness. He said we would just monitor the baby. Well that went fine until Monday when I all of a sudden got very very tight so today I got .8cc out and I feel much better. How much are you able to eat?? Are you really tight??

Wow so this may not get better with an unfill!??? I hope I do not have to live on liquids for the next 7 months! Yikes! that will stink. Well I am off to watch Biggest Loser! =)

Well I called the dr today but couldnt get in until tomorrow morning. I have been able to get thin liquids down slowly today. i tried thinned out cream of wheat this evening NO GO!!!! back up it came. I am so hungry. I really hope it is not a slip, I just dont know what would have caused it if it is a slip. Jill

Congrats Claud! You are so strong! Where is everyone?!?!? Hello!!!??? my update is band decided to get so tight I can barely drink water! I dont know why unless it is hormone/baby related. But I am starving and it is driving me crazy, I cant get in for an unfill till tomorrow morning. I usually like being pretty restricted but this is very very restricted! Plus baby is making me hungrier than usual! Alright girls I want some updates!! Roll call-- who's here and what are you up to!!!!!

my band is very tight all of a sudden starting yesterday. I dont know if it pg hormones or what. I havent really pb except today and some yesterday. I am having trouble getting liquids down even. I had really had heartburn before that for a few days. I am going to call and see if I can get an unfill tomorrow. I didnt want to get unfilled this early in the pg! that is such a bummer. I am so worried about gaining too much and having complications with the baby! I dont think I can do anything about it though I have get some of this out. Its terrible I am starving but I cant eat! Anyone else have this??

I like Ginger Butler too! I am feeling good for the most part. Just wish I wasnt so tired. I need to exercise will somebody please motivate me to get my butt off the computer chair and exercise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that is 30 lbs actually that seems like nothing! I mean really compared to where we all started!! I love my band.
