What are your other addictions/ obsessions?

My transfer addictions have been going back and forth between sex, flirting, working out, and my phone. Currently I am all about my phone and need it surgically removed from my hand. The attention and flirting are going to get me in trouble, but is sorely lacking from my husband. So I compensate by looking elsewhere. Working out is just something I do and have fun with to be healthy.
  2. I had sleeve surgery 5 months ago and just started taking adderall two days ago. I was diagnosed with ADD years ago and have been on stratera and concerta in the past. But I forgot to take it all the time and self medicated with coffee. When I went off coffee for surgery back in Feb. it was so hard and gave me such intense headaches, that I don't want to go back. But my ADD was out of control, so I talked to my doc and started adderall twice a day 10mg. I have notice a little more acid, but I have to make myself get my protein in.

    Alcohol, parties, fun?

My friends had surgery a while ago. One 9 years and the other 5 years. Whenever we go out they are the designated driver and stick to ice tea only. I plan to have only a one drink or stick to tea when I'm three months out. I'm only a month out right now.
  4. Bone broth has that much protein. Pacific brand
  5. I was cleared to add scrambled eggs today and only ate half of the one egg I scrambled. That will be the only solid food I'll eat today. Otherwise it is soups and protein shake. The one thing I have learned is every doctor is different. I trust the information I was given and am doing quite alright and will be even better on Friday when my staples are out.
  6. I was sleeved on the 9th also. I had unsweetened applesauce with a baby spoonful of peanut butter for breakfast, blended black bean soup for lunch, and homemade potato soup for dinner with bone broth. I did have a protein shake today, too. I think if you cook the cauliflower really good and blend it up you could have it. I get to have a scrambled egg tomorrow.
  7. I do use a torani syrup caramel it tastes okay initially but to drink it slowly pretty much all day is where it starts tasting nasty. I have even refrigerated it in between. Thanks for the feedback though.
  8. I was using a vegan blend of pea, hemp, and cranberry protein and it is heavy and thick.
  9. I am post op day 4 and can add in a protein shake to sip on all day. Here's the problem, the vegan protein blend I used during the pre op diet is not something I can drink slowly. I barely choked it down drink it fast. I tried a whey protein shake and now have issues. Any suggestions? Thanks

    February 2016 sleevers?

I had surgery yesterday the 9th. I feel alright. I did get some gas pains in my shoulder, but I walked the halls and they went away. I love ice chips because it is all I can have right now. The best thing is I got to go through this process with my best friend. We were sleeved an hour apart.

    February 2016 sleevers?

My surgery is tomorrow!! I am nervous and excited. Pre-op was challenging this week, but based on some suggestions found here, I finally enjoy my protein shake. I am gluten free and lactose intolerant, so I have been using a hemp/pea protein blend. It is heavy and dense. I know use sugar free caramel flavoring with cashew milk, one scoop of regular protein powder and a 1/4 scoop of chocolate flavor, plus some ice. It is now pretty tasty. The only part I am nervous about is the shot I have to give myself for 7 days. It is a blood thinner so I don't get any clots.

    My mistake telling people...

I mistakingly told my co-worker that has never had a weight problem. At first she tried to talk me out of it, then she excitedly said, "I can't wait to see the real you." Seriously?!? Am I not me now? Then she scolded me and told me I better follow the plan exactly and not cheat. WTF Thankfully my boss interrupted our conversation before it escalated.

    Pre op diet weight loss

I started my pre-op liquids on Tuesday. I am down 7lbs already. I can't do whey protein, so I am using vegan and it is so gross. But I choke down the three shakes a day. I never knew how much I liked and preferred beef broth to chicken. Oh and sugar free bomb pops are awesome.
