Do any of you want to start a Facebook page for March Sleevers? I would be glad to try. If so send me your email addresses in private message and we can try it.

Also as a thought, not an excuse, Making a Murderer is an addicting and emotional documentary. I myself was cranky and distant with my family when watching it. I was annoyed having to pause it whenever my kids needed me or it was time for dinner. It's sucks every emotion out of you and it took me a couple of weeks to snap out of it.

@@3friday1 - You and I have the same pre-op body type. You look amazing! I am so afraid of loose skin. What types of exercises have you done to tone up so well?

You are just beginning the discovery of coping with emotions without literally stuffing them. ..put all that thought of divorce and stuff out of your mind and give yourself a chance to heal, and frankly rebuild some life skills.
On another note, I watched that damn show 3 weeks ago and I think i have decided what really happened. .. but I have been thinking about it that long - especially about the kid who was convicted due to coerced confession. Like I said, it was addictive.

Hello! My name is Lupe and I am from Ventura, California. I am pre-op with a surgery date of March 16th. I am having surgery with Dr. Chen at UCLA. I am still undecided on the type of surgery I am getting. My surgeon said I would be a good candidate for the sleeve but he said the bypass is also ok with him. I have met two people who personally have done the Sleeve and did not have great results with weight reduction. I also have two friends that had the bypass who are both struggling. One with transfer addictions and the other with anorexia. I am trying to learn as much about the process as I can. The good, bad and ugly.
Look forward to getting to know everyone. I am happy and scared about this journey.
As backwards as this may seem, as I am learning to prep my body the hardest thing is eating 6 times a day. I am typically someone who doesn't eat in the morning and find myself having a really late (3-4pm) lunch and late (7-8pm) dinner. Changing that and forcing myself to eat smaller meals/snacks several times a day has been hard for sure! But I'm getting there! My Water intake is getting better too!
    Warmly,
    Lupe Lane

I have told just close family & friends primarily. I ventured out to tell a newer friend and she tried to talk me out of it. Saying that I should really focus on eating and exercising. She is and always has been thin. ???? So just her response alone makes me just want to focus on the support system that will matter. My husband, kids, our parents and my best friends. I don't want to stress out on people's expectations of me or their judgments.

I think you may want to speak with a professional about the emotional issues you have connected to your weight. Not eating enough is dangerous at any time, but especially after being sleeved. It is not uncommon for people to swap addictions after weight loss surgery and it sounds like you may have done that. Your new addiction is focused so strongly on gaining weight that you are walking the border of anorexia. That is not a tight rope walk that you want to fall off. In fact, not eating enough WILL damage your metabolism to the point that you cannot lose more or stablize. Not eating enough will throw you into starvation mode and your body will hoard every calorie you do ingest.
Please please think about seeing a professional before you cause serious damage to your health.
