  1. I am a year out and need a mentor ! I am starting to lose focus. Old habits are starting to creep back and feeling a little out of control. I am down 60 pounds and really would love to go another 20 to 40 but cant seem to motivate myself. I have not been back to the doctor or the NUT - My first mistake was thinking I could do this on my own. I need to just restart and not sure how. Thanks !

    Protein help

    I was drinking isopure but it was making me sick then my NUT told me to dilute it with water.... Much better ! Also okios Greek yogurt triple zero has a lot of protein- lived on the Vanella - still do. Another tip is Iso 100 protein powder - very high protein low sugar and carbs mixed with 25 calorie almond milk...delish I get it at the vitamin shop.
  4. I am 7 months out and finally broke the 200 mark- actually down to 191. !!! But the scale has not move at all this month...very FRUSTRATING ! I know the weight loss slows down but this can't be it ☹️ I work out with a trainer two days a week and try to walk a mile two other days, I am getting my protein, taking my vitamins and calcium . I do admit I stopped counting how much water I drink. But how do I kick thus back into gear and start dropping again? I will take any advise, criticism and help... I am just at a loss as to what to do.

    Daily diet

    I stopped tracking cause I thought I had this under control but I guess it's time to start tracking again ! When were you sleeved and how much are you down? I was always told eat as tolerated no restrictions- their theory was if your stomach wasn't ready for it then I would know. That was very true! Also they NUT and Doctor always said don't worry about fats just get your protein in and stay away from carbs for as long as you can. Not the greatest of guidelines but they are trying to teach us to LISTEN to our stomachs ..when you feel full - stop . I do t know the numbers to shoot for..any suggestions?

    Daily diet

    Just curious - I had my sleeve December -down 50 pounds.. I feel like I am eating too much. What does your daily diet look like 7 months out? How many calories are you taking in. My weight loss has slowed down and I am worried old habits are coming back. Starting to feel out of control.

    Itchy skin

    No antibiotics. I have been off all meds since post op and sugar levels still good! Thanks guys wish I could figure this out!
  8. I am four months post op. I have a hard time taking vitamins, they make me terribly nauseous ... So I stopped taking them. I do take the calcium. I don't know if it is associated but the past three weeks I have had terribly itchy skin on my legs , butt, waist, Upper arms. I went to primary and she couldn't figure it out. Definitely NOT bedbugs I ripped my house and bedrooms apart. They are like red hives, they get red and raised for no reason all different times of the day. Recently my legs and lower stomach is black and blue. My weight loss has been slower than I thought it would be, I exercise at least 4x per week...both cardio and weight training. I get in my protein and water. Can this all be from a vitamin deficiency? I have a doctors appt next Friday with my Endo and surgeons. I am on no meds currently .

    Att: Peanut Butter Lovers

    I actually do this and then stir in some sugar free jelly. Be careful with the crackers, as they will stall you out quickly. I use low carb wheat bread things and only eat like 4 of them. I love to put strawberry jelly into my cottage cheese - taste like cheese cake !

    You can add water to the PB2 and spread it on celery or crackers ... Not too bad !!
  12. I have a question... Today will make 7 weeks since my sleeve. Everything was amazing, no pain, very little discomfort, felt the restriction and I was on a regular diet within 3 weeks just take it slow as per the doctor and nurses. Well yesterday I thought I was getting a stomach bug. Had a lot of discomfort , stomach upset, now everything I eat hurts, even water . The pain is just under my diaphragm right in the middle. Kind of like a spasm but it is only when I eat/drink. Any thoughts?
  13. I don't get the full 64 oz either. But I do know that my sugar levels are WAY down even came off all my meds...when my sugar was high is when I pee more. My Endo said its a definite possibility that since the sugars are down less peeing .
  14. What is ketosis and how do you get there ? My doctor keeps telling me protein first (60 grams) but I am not really losing weight. Surgery was 12/8 start weight was 230 now at second office visit 217. Scale has not moved in weeks and getting crazy. I keep hearing about staying in ketosis ....don't know what that is or how to get there. Any suggestions ??? Have an appointment with nut on Monday.

    Progresso makes some good soups also, lentil, black bean all are high in protein and easy to purée .
