  1. Yum! I may try this without the corn. I love anything with cilantro.
  2. I just wanted to say welcome! You will get tons of support and information here. It is a great resource for Post-op questions.
  3. Congrats! You have worked hard for this, enjoy!
  4. Have you tried to dilute them down with Water or milk? If the sweetness is what bothers you that be enough to make them more palatable.
  5. I am not sure what you mean, are you having a second surgery for a "twisted stomach"? I hope your doctor can fix whatever issue you are having. Is this some strange anomaly or a surgical mistake? Let us know how they fix this for you.
  6. @@byebyefat I really think fat tends to be a 'last on, first off' type thing. I gain first and most in my tummy, hips, thighs first.. and then everything else starts gaining to eventually become proportionate. I am losing in reverse. The fattest parts of me are still the tummy, hips, thighs. I really think it depends on genetics and body type as to how we gain and lose. For the neck, I would do as others have suggested and try some exercises for the neck (they cant hurt), and I would use an over-the-counter Retinol product to help with collagen production and skin texture in the meantime. These products wont cause fat loss, but will sure help the skin once the fat is not filling it out.
  7. That is so wonderful that you are still finding layers of yourself being revealed and resurrected as you go through this journey I am so glad that you have your husband back at home and on the mend. Sounds like you have a great outlook to help you both through this.
  8. @@libby43 LOL! Me too! From armpit up I look great.... now to finish shrinking this belly, butt, and thighs.
  9. I got a pair of super cute black Coach boots when I hit Onederland! I think I would do a mani, pedi, and highlights if I didnt want to buy clothes or shoes. I love finding what I consider "great" finds though. Maidenform has some really great control/shaper leggings for $14, and Walmart has some surprisingly good jeggings (Faded Glory i think) for about $13. Both have been great wardrobe extenders with a pair of boots and a tunic top.
  10. Ouch! I dont have much of a sweet tooth, but those homemade cupcakes look pretty tempting and yummy. I would brush my teeth and then stay away from the kitchen, lol. With you being at goal weight, you could probably savor part of a cupcake or donut and be fine! Skinny people have treats. I have read enough of your posts to know it wouldn't send you over the edge : )
  11. Have you talked to your surgeon/nut/general MD about these health concerns? That should be your first priority. They can address your health concerns much better as this sounds like it has become a medical issue... as opposed to a general weight loss issue. If you dont value the opinion of the professionals at the clinic that you chose you can always see your general MD.
  12. You look great, and look great in that dress! Happy Birthday!
  13. I have a Magic Bullet, but I have had it for years. I used it for about 1 week... the week of full liquids. I would puree my Soup, pour my little portion into a coffee cup and microwave it, and put a lid on the rest and stick it in the fridge. Havent used it since. I cant imagine needing a full size blender for anything.
  14. I am stunned that this is you and your daughter! You look great! Well done.
  15. I prefer the Syntrax Nectars mixed with Water, and prefer the fruit flavors and the Cappuccino flavor. Add lots of ice and it doesnt even taste like a Protein drink (to me).
  16. LOL! Like @@VSGAnn2014, I also noticed your legs and had look over to see your height. You look fabulous!
  17. A stall lasts for days... I think it abnormal to EXPECT to lose weight daily the first weeks. Focus on healing and recovery!
  18. Those first few days are odd... they pass fast thank goodness. The air that is trapped from surgery is workin its way out... you are sore.. bloated... it passes by day 3-4 or so.
  19. Wash them? I would use a pre-soak if they are that funky.
  20. Happy Birthday and best wishes for a Fabulous Next Year! This journey is great!
