I was fine on full liquids, after weeks of clear liquids I was in heaven! I was not satisfied (full feeling) until I started pureed and soft solids. That was a game changer!

Clothes
I get what you mean, but I don't have that problem at all! The second it is too big to wear it goes into my donate pile. I can't stand having a closet full of clothes that I cant wear, and it is too frustrating to dig through 10 pairs of black pants and have to look at size labels to find the pair that isn't too big, lol. Simplify, and toss or donate if you can't wear it!

Fish on soft food died?
I love Tilipia. Sometimes I do it Blackened, but usually just sprinkle with some Lemon & Herb seasoning. It was one of my first meals on soft foods, and I still find it tasty and easy on the stomach.

Try posting in the Gastric Sleeve Pre-Op or Post-Op sections. They have more traffic and are more specific to the information you probably want.

Water & Protein
These are my absolute favorite Protein drinks. I have the Cappuccino over ice every morning for Breakfast, and keep the single serve Lemonaide, strawberry Kiwi, Fuzzy Navel, etc... in my desk at work. I like that they mix easily with water!

Previous Bander... getting VSG soon... Please talk to me..
I am a revision from LapBand. I am very pleased with this little stomach. I am losing slowly, but it is so much better than how I lived with the Band. I was throwing up daily even with my band empty... It had slipped and developed so much scar tissue that removal was the only option. I am losing 1-2 lbs per week, so I am not losing rapidly like some people do but it is pretty steady and I have no doubts that I will make it back down to a healthy weight. I have no regrets.

YUCK!
Add something to it. vanilla or any flavor of the Torani sugar-free flavorings.... you can get a 12oz bottle at Walmart for about $4.00, I think they are by the coffees usually. It comes in Caramel, Vanilla, Hazlenut, Rasberry, Toffee, strawberry, etc...

Pre diabetic
You should be fine being on the borderline with a pre-existing condition... but I am not familiar with BCBS.

What body type do you have after your weight loss?
Hourglass. Even fat I had a smaller waist and bigger hips and top... I seem to gain and lose proportionally.

Bison
Sure! I live in Deer territory, and Venison Chili is a stable in the winter... sleeve or not!

Wedding bands?
I was opening my car door and my ring flew off my hand! I came home and looked on Ebay or Amazon (HSN? I don't remember) and bought a Rhodium/Silver CZ set that looks almost identical to my original ring. I think it was about $100. I am still wearing it, it is almost prettier than my real set. When I lose to goal I will have my rings sized.... they are very sentimental.

LOW metabolism - sleeve or bypass
I am 48, with PCOS, Insulin Resistance, and menopausal. My metabolism is not prime. I am losing slowly with the sleeve... very slowly. However, I am losing and NOT doing the slow gain. I never gained rapidly, but a pound or two added up gradually... and now I am losing gradually. I feel like if I am losing, anyone can LOL.

I've found two negatives from major weight loss!
LOL! I have to put inserts into all my closed shoes... I don't remember replacing my shoes pair by pair as I gained, but they surely don't fit now! I love my new skinny feet!

getting tired of this stuff need new ideas puree stage
I loved chicken salad in the soft/mushie/puree stage. Canned chicken breast, some fat-free Ranch, and a little relish. Mash up with a fork. Super easy, tasty, filling, and easy on the tummy. High Protein too. Others favorites: Refried Beans with some grated sharp cheddar and salsa. Ground turkey with a little spaghetti sauce (no pasta), Ricotta cheese with marinara, Tilapia seasoned with a little lemon pepper, Cottage cheese with a teaspoon of sugar-free orange Marmalade and some Stevia, Cottage cheese with Salsa, Tuna salad, soft Scrambled egg with cheese or salsa, Ground turkey with taco seasoning, topped with cheese and salsa

I do mine in a 20oz tumbler and fill with ice. It stays cold and tasty for hours... I tend to drink my morning iced Syntrax Cappuccino in about an hour though.
