  3. So I will be 4 months post op September 9th. I have been steadily losing the entire time until the last 2 weeks. The last two weeks I've had family in town and haven't been accountable! I ate out multiple times and multiple days in a row and they weren't the best options. I also introduced tobacco back into my life. Here I am freaking out! On August 20th I weighed in at 178. My lowest stepping on scale the day after was 175. Flash forward to today and k am at 180.8! I am totally freaking out! Can anyone give me tips on how to fix this and help me start losing again? I stopped the smoking, I know that is probably part of it. But I'm scared to really gain, so help me lose!
  4. @@biggiesmalls250 did you gain anything at all? I'm so scared I'll get it and then will gain. I've worked soooo hard. I don't want to gain or permantely stall.
  5. I'm too scared of an IUD. I feel it's just not an option for me as of right now.
  6. Hey guys. So I am 3 months post op and have lost about 103 pounds. I went off my birth control pill in December due to blood pressure and here I am weighing my options. I'm really interested in nexplanon. Buuuut I'm terrified of gaining weight from it and not being able to lose anymore. What have your doctors said? Your experiences?? Tips? Suggestions?

  16. Thank you! It really is the start of forever (:
  17. Well guys, I am almost two months post op (July 9th). I truly believe surgery was a saving grace for me. Before surgery I was 20 years old and 16 pounds shy of 300 pounds. I wasn't happy, I wasn't living life, and I certainly was not going to live a full life at the rate I was going. I started dieting February 6th & by my surgery date of May 9th I was 236 pounds! I had lost 48 pounds all by myself in 3 months. Never had I been successful before in losing. Surgery went incredible & I feel even better. I was stalled for about 3 weeks after surgery and then the weight started coming off. As of yesterday I am officially 205 pounds! A whopping 31 lost since surgery & 79 all together! It's such an incredible feeling. I really want to be 199 or under by my 21st birthday which is July 10th so let's cross our fingers that it happens. But I am so close to my overall goal of 150 that I have no patience left! I'm so excited and happy for the first time in a long time. I am so happy I got this surgery when I did & I will forever be grateful for this opportunity. Anyone thinking about surgery, my opinion is to just go for it. ❤️
  18. I am 4 weeks post op today & am doing fine. My incisions are healed and I've had no issues whatsoever. I've been back to work for 2 weeks and tomorrow we had a call off and I want to work the shift but it will include putting away boxes of product. I don't think anything weighs over 40-50 pounds but I forgot when my surgeon said go for it.
  19. @@gina171 that makes me feel so much better! I wish there were support groups around me that were Good to go to! I def will keep everyone updated (: feel free to add me on Instagram my name is changinghaley, I update my thoughts, feelings, and emotions!
  20. I've heard of a stall starting at around three weeks, but I've never heard of not losing anything in the week after post op. Ugh stressing mgself out.
  21. So I am two weeks and 3 days post op & feel so good. I have so many questions and Google doesn't answer them all very well. Is it normal to have no lost weight since surgery. I feel like my scale has been stuck on one weight and won't budge! When I seen my doctor two weeks post op he said I'd lost 23 pounds since my last office visit which was a week before surgery, but the scale hasn't moved since May 9th! Tell me this is normal!
  22. Don't worry I'm the exact same way and I'm two weeks post op as of yesterday! I can eat so much yogurt and mashed patstos!
  23. @@leahhindi, everyone is very different! You might have a more sensitive sleeve then me! Just give your time to heal and try again in a few days! You won't hurt anything! As long as your not eating bread and really solid food
