Sleeve & birth control

Hey guys. So I am 3 months post op and have lost about 103 pounds. I went off my birth control pill in December due to blood pressure and here I am weighing my options. I'm really interested in nexplanon. Buuuut I'm terrified of gaining weight from it and not being able to lose anymore. What have your doctors said? Your experiences?? Tips? Suggestions?

I had a copper IUD before surgery. I like it, and I have no plans on getting rid of it. When I have it removed I will just get another one. Perfect birth control, no nasty hormones.

I have nexplanon and it's been wonderful! I have been consistently fat since I got it almost 2 years ago (read:no weight gain). I love that it's in my arm too, I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of anything being stuck inside my uterus especially since it can travel. With nexplanon, I'll always know if it's moved and it hasn't

@@haleymarie I felt that way for years. I am so happy with mine I am really disappointed I didn't get one sooner, but you have to choose what works with you. I can't take hormones at all so this is my only viable long term option while keeping the door open so to speak.
