I know what you mean. I just said that to my doctor last week when he asked me about my exercise...I said I have not lost enough weight to have an attitude adjustment...the one that is going to make me exercise. I'm lucky if I get my treadmill a couple times a week. I really do wish I could exercise more....but by attitude sucks...I still hate myself for being sooo fat, lazy and unmotivated. I'm hoping that after my first fill and the weight starts coming off my attitude may change. I can't believe I was skinny and an swimmer, track, gymnastics and in college I was on the crew team...8-man rowing scull....loved it and loved to exercise....what happened...how did I get like this????

BLAH...I hate to exercise. I even have a treadmill I stare at every time I go into the livingroom.....I wish I could stick with it long enough for it to become a habit....30 days huh! I will give it a try...........I know exercise would help.

quiltinginiowa.....I feel the same way....I wanted to feel more restrictions....but I have not felt any. I go for my first fill wed. the 13th, I hope it helps. I'm scared I'm going to keep eating too much and gain weight. The reason I got the band is to feel that restriction and eat less.....:smile2:

I grew up in Massachusetts, moved to Colorado Springs, CO; Tuscon Arizona, Alamagordo NM, Alexandria, LA; Houston, TX and now Galveston, TX...forever. I moved too many times and now that I havae a family I plan to stay here.....tooo hot, but I love it........:smile2:

I am doing better than I expected...with eating that is, but I'm back on my antidepressants and am feeling sad.....like many have said before.....like I have lost my best friend and even though I am down 21 pounds I don't feel it either. I can see that my scrubs are fitting better, but I still don't see it. I have not felt restricted at all and I'm afraid of eating too much. My doctor has finally agreed that I can get a fill next week. It has been 4 weeks and maybe I am being impatient.....I just want it to happen faster......:thumbup:

Hi everyone in Mass. I saw the name of this tread and had to come look. I grew up in West Springfield and my family still lives there and in Boston....I now live in Texas and I get sooooooo homesick. I am sooo happy for you. I am 4 weeks out of banding and over 2 years of working towards it.I couldn't be happier and I love this forum. Everyone is sooo great........let us know how you are doing.:eek:

First...follow what your doctor says........everyone is a little bit different, I started to walk the first day postop and have gradually increased as tolerated. The only restriction my doctor gave me was on heavy lifting and not to do it......also I could not swim until I was 4 weeks out and my incisions were healed..............how do you feel about exercising???????????? I personally hate it and fight it every step of the way.I would like to do more and I know it would help, but I just HATE it........good luck.

I hate to exercise.....................I have been loosing weight without exercise, but that was when I was on the optifast 800 cal diet...now that I am adding food and keeping my cal below 1200 the weight loss has slowed down....so I would like to be able to get myself to exercise more...I know that would help.

I have been very gassy..much to my childrens' humorous remarks............no constipation yet, but have had the diarrhea a couple of times....I have been that will get better as you start eating more normal food.........Keep a diary to help identify problems...........
