  1. I admit, I thought the same thing. Spit or swallow? hee hee hee *evil grin*
  2. I was driving about 3 days after my surgery and had no problems. Granted, I don't drive 600 miles/week but I don't think it will be an issue.
  3. Prior to being banded, I loved going out for sushi...so, after being banded in September 2005, I tried sushi today and had absolutely no problems!! I asked for a 1/3 of the rice and chewed and chewed and chewed. I'm a happy camper today! :biggrin1: I'll be back for more soon, I'm sure.
  4. I had picked the following to be voted off: Kinnick Ayla Will Kevin So, yeah, I was surprised that Gideon was voted off. I'm happy for Kevin. He may be the token "geek" but he does have a decent voice. It takes guts to attempt a Josh Grobin song. I don't know how long he'll last though.
  5. Aww...I hope you feel much better soon. I'm sure surgery will be a breeze and you'll recover quickly. Best of luck to you!
  6. I noticed that she hasn't answered you yet so I thought I would answer for you. Metformin (generic for Glucophage) and Actos are medications typically prescribed for diabetics; however, they are also used to help control PCOS. I was on Metformin for about 3 years but it didn't really help.
  7. I traveled about 1 month following my surgery and had no problems whatsoever. Just remember to follow the rules provided by your surgeon about food intake and you should be fine. I'm now almost 6 months out and have traveled 3 times, all with no problems. If you go to either www.tickerfactory.com or www.tickercentral.com you'll be able to create your ticker and paste it into your signature. Just remember to copy and paste the code provided for bbCode, not html.
  8. If you want to see something scary, check out the pictures of Jocelyn Wildenstein. This woman has had so much plastic surgery that people are afraid to look at her. My friend Jody had to entertain her while working at an upscale hair replacement salon in Manhattan. :yuck: http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/archives/000351.html You have to scroll down the page to view what she looks like now.
  9. I average between 800-900 calories per day. Every once in a while, I'll choose a day where I kick it up to about 1100-1200.
  10. Congrats and we'll see you in bandland in a few months!!
  11. *hands tissues to P'Nut, Morsaille, and skbishop78* I have faith that you'll be posting a loss next week. :waytogo: :gluck: For everyone else...great job!! :Banane40: P.S. I'm 15 pounds away from onederland!! I can't wait to see 199 on the scales. I'll be doing the happy dance!! :):purplebananna:
  12. This is an open forum and I am free to post any question I desire. By posting your plea for money and offering a lot of personal information about yourself, you have opened yourself up to skepticism and questions. As I've said to someone else on this forum, if you don't wish to view my posts, I suggest that you put me on ignore.
  13. I'm going to play the Devil's Advocate here and ask the others who have posted in this thread the following: Does the picture on shakeerah's yahoo profile look like a girl that has a social phobia? http://profiles.yahoo.com/shakeerah06

  20. Is anyone else skeptical about this?
  21. Congratulations! :biggrin1:
