The Day Has Come

Well I will be banded tomorrow morning at 9:30 am. I am sitting here and I'm so excited, scared to death and really worrying about what I'm doing. I know I really don't have a choice and that without this tool, I'm never going to be healthy again. And I have to much to live for not to do it. But I'm really scared right now. Say a little prayer for me and hopefully I'll be back in 2 days and wll be as happy as all of you are to have done it. Thanks for all the info and support.:faint:

Wow, Ralheit;

we're going to be band sisters!!!! I'm getting it done tomorrow too at 8 am. Good luck to you- maybe we can compare after pains . lol :clap2: :clap2:

Ralheit, I will be sending good thoughts your way in the morning! I remember well the fear/excitement. Check back in and let us know how it went as soon as you feel up to it!

I will be thinking of you and praying the pain dissipates with walking, walking and walking.....It is a must! After 2 days my pain quickly ended. Still have tiny amount of awareness but it isn't pain really. Take the pain meds to get you through the first couple days..

You are doing a very smart thing for yourself!!:)

Good luck to the two of you! Think happy thoughts! And quick like a bunny when you're done - go get that brown bottle! Sleep tight!

Thinking of both of you this morning... it's about that time (depending on your time zone, hehe).

Hang in there, take the pain meds (don't be a stoic!), and walk, walk, walk!! Baby yourself as much as you can! :)

(( Hugs!! ))
