Hahaha my thought exactly. I love the 4th of July so much. So this year in my mind, the Fireworks are going to be in celebration of my life changing! I am getting so excited for the surgery and a little nervous for the post-op. I want so badly to succeed at weightloss this time!

I'm so sorry you had such a rough time. How are you feeling today? I'm a day ahead of you, today is the first day I actually feel like I could get dressed and leave the house. I haven't even showered since the morning of my surgery! Think back to the difference between how you felt when you woke up yesterday, and how you felt when you went to bed. Compare it to the day before. Every day you're feeling a little bit better, every day you're getting past one more of the limited number of painful days we signed up for. A few more days and you'll be focused more on the positive changes in your body than the occasional pain. Then we can begin our exciting relationship with the scales for the first time!

I am new to this online support group and very excited to read of many success stories. It gives me great hope for my weight loss story to come. I am 4 days out from my surgery and very excited. The last time I officially weight myself I was 370lbs. Being 5'4 that's pretty heavy. I have 250 lbs to loose and I can't wait to get there!

It could a test specific to my surgeon. I worry so much about saggy skin. I know the faster you lose weight the higher risk you are for more excess skin. Wonder if I will have have saggy booty skin. That would make me feel strange.
Thoughts I've often wondered... will I be just as uhappy with my skin and I was my weight...? Ughs.

@@jess9395 i a 5'4 and 370lbs. I carry a lot of weight in my legs and butt. I will definitely check out 'big lady yoga' sounds like fun.
@@Dub I am glad to hear that walking is a big part of the first steps. I know that I am going to want to do it the right way as to not injure my body but I also want to push myself. Thank you for sharing your workout so far.

@innersurfergirl swimming is definitely an exercise I want to get into. Having a pool here on site makes it a prime choice, plus it is so good for your body! How many weeks would you say you were at when you could get in the pool?

@@Amanda Elder - This site can be a great source of encouragement. Like any place online you take the good with the bad. It's challenging when you have more than 100 lbs or so to lose, because for the most part you know your journey will take more than a year. This thread is a nice reminder that even though it takes a little longer, it can be done. When I start feeling discouraged I come hang out here.

I am so excited to find this onlione forum. being overseas for my husbands work makes it hard to connect with many people!
I am having surgery December 3rd as a 30th birthday present. I am nervous and anxious all at once!
