I stalled for two weeks exactly. Surgery was 7/25 I lost 10lbs at my post op appt on 8/3 and stalled up until this past Monday when my stall broke. What I had to do was up my Water. That is what helped me. I was working out 7 days straight for atleast and hour on treadmill and elliptical and felt that I was about to break if my stall didn't let up. My weight didn't go up it just stayed put at 207. So I knew eventually it would break. I bought fresh lemons bought a new water bottle and added a half of a lemon to my Water. Since water flushes fat out of our bodies through urine and feces it is very important to drink up to the 64oz of water and u will most likely see a change then. Water is the key and when I stalled I wasn't getting in enough. As soon as I added more water to my diet the scale started moving again. I lost 2 lbs in 2 days and it's still moving. I'm also still working out.

I could have written your post! Same exact thing is happening to me. Also I am end of week 4. Lost 20 pounds first two weeks, 2 pounds second week and fourth week....nothing. I am just glad I am not gaining. But it is frustrating. I chalk it up to my body hanging on to every little morsel of food possible. Sent from my SM-J320F using the BariatricPal App

That's good to hear I'm glad it moved for you, I'm taking the same advice and had my husband hide the scale and I'm just going to focus on eating well ,getting my liquids, and exercising and I will weigh in once I'm 6 weeks post op which is next Monday that'll have been 2 weeks of no weigh ins so I'm hoping the scale will be down a few pounds by then. I had an official stall for 3 weeks and 1 day ( but whose counting ) but took everyone's advice , didn't weigh , kept doing what I knew was right and getting my Water in and .... Finally the scale moved 2 lbs over the weekend !!!!

I am 4 weeks today and I stalled at week 2. Didn't lose till last week actually so I guess not a true stall. My body was just doing some major work, look up "embrace the stall" while your not losing weight your body is losing inches. Get a tape measure for the no weight loss times. Just stuff I have read on here and it does help to know that even though the scale isn't moving your body is still hard at work.

Thank you KristenLe! You don't really notice the difference daily until you put the pictures next to each other. I've lost 51 lbs since surgery!

I have just hit 103 lbs down and am about 10 1/2 months out. I feel like I have been a slow loser compared to a lot of folks but mainly because I had a 2 1/2 month stall around the 7 month mark and just started losing again. I was hoping to further down with being this close to being a year out, but I am still incredibly proud of my progress so far and beyond thankful for the opportunity to receive this tool.
Here was a face to face transformation at the 90 lb down mark:

And here is a side by side from the morning of my surgery to my 100 lb down mark wearing the same exact shirt. It's amazing how much longer the shirt looks when it isn't stretched over that tummy!
