How much did you lose after the year mark?
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I kinda knew the answer too but as I said, I guess I was just looking for a little reassurance that the 12 month mark is not the end all and be all. I knew 18 months was the number given to me, I guess I was just getting down on myself with that stall.

3 Years post op...........How did it go by so fast!
Congratulations on your success! I am wondering if you might tell me how much you lost in the first year and then after the year mark. I am nearing the year mark with at least 70 more that I want to lose (and my secret goal of losing another 90 lol) but I guess I am just worried that after I reach that dreaded year mark this may be unattainable. I am incorporating more exercise now and making sure I stick to a low-carb lifestyle. I just want to know there is hope after I got so discouraged here recently during a 2 1/2 month stall. Again, congratulations...you have done wonderful!!!

How much did you lose after the year mark?
Hi all! I am nearing the 11 month mark and am 103 lbs down. I hit a 2 1/2 month stall around month 7 which was really frustrating. I was hoping to be down a lot further at the year mark and I am getting close. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely proud of what I have accomplished so far, but I am just hoping for some stories from those who have been there to help me stay positive. My goal weight that was set at surgery would mean I need to lose another 70, but I would really like to reach the 200 lb down mark. So, for those who have been there, how much did you continue to lose after the year mark?

I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)
I have just hit 103 lbs down and am about 10 1/2 months out. I feel like I have been a slow loser compared to a lot of folks but mainly because I had a 2 1/2 month stall around the 7 month mark and just started losing again. I was hoping to further down with being this close to being a year out, but I am still incredibly proud of my progress so far and beyond thankful for the opportunity to receive this tool. Here was a face to face transformation at the 90 lb down mark: And here is a side by side from the morning of my surgery to my 100 lb down mark wearing the same exact shirt. It's amazing how much longer the shirt looks when it isn't stretched over that tummy!

Almost 3 months post-op. Down 51 pounds.
Congratulations, I know you and I had ours right about the same time and my weight-lost numbers are almost the exact same as yours which is encouraging to me. Thanks for the update and for your tips!

Feeling full / eating to much
I have reached my point and mainly because I had trouble learning how to slow my eating and then it would hit me like all of a sudden. I've never thrown up but mine when I got too full was like I could feel the food in my chest and it HURT! My recommendation would be to take a small bite then sit your spoon/fork down and take a minute before your next bite. It seems difficult at first, but it's worth it to not overdo it.

Will I ever be able to eat Pizza again?
I am just a little over 2 months out and have had pizza, basically because it was the only thing served, but I didn't even try to touch regular hand tossed crust. I opted for a small thin crust slice and even then basically ended up just eating the toppings.

For the ladies....Was your cycle messed up after surgery?
I am 2 months out. I started the week following surgery which was about a week and a half early. The next two months have been like clockwork from that first pre-surgery one.

chewable vitamins/vs patch
I am also interested in the responses. I have not seen Patches anywhere.

Sushi?
I was off of pureed by week 3 and was able to have soft textures. I also went to a sushi restaurant in my 3rd week. It really depends on what you are going to have. Better to go the sashimi route and watch out for the rice. My doc had no problem with it.

How much are you able to eat 1 month out?
Only down 24 lbs? ONLY? That's an accomplishment in and of itself. That is something to be proud of and obviously it already is working. It sounds like y'all may just be experiencing the dreaded "3 week stall" I just got over mine and today marks 4 weeks past surgery (23 lbs down) and the scale finally dropped 3 lbs as if over night. Don't beat yourself up. 24 lbs in a month is successful.
