  1. I'm 2 months out and frequently get hungry too. I do take a pill for acid reflux everyday but still get hungry. I think it's pretty normal but I don't know.
  2. I say go for it. Life is all about change for the better.
  3. Someone once told me have your cake. ..savor your first bite, then have one more making it your last savored bite because everything in between is empty calories. You can eat like normal people you just have to be mindful of what and how much you are eating. Enjoy life but don't go over board.
  4. Tuna salad, egg salad, fish of any kind soft cooked, all with light mayo of course no full fat. Happy birthday
  5. I hope to hit 199 by the beginning of Dec.
  6. You look great. You don't even look like the same person. Why to go
  7. Maybe we should start a group called thick skinned people only the truth hurts lol
  8. Absolutely normal. It gets easier.
  9. I'm in! Goal is 3 gym days a week. Cw is 218 goal is 208.
  10. That moment when you catch your reflection in a window or mirror and notice "holy crap I am shrinking". It happened to me a few times in the last week. Love it!
  11. Dance away proudgrammy!
  12. I pray that this doesn't happen to me. I've been best friends with mine for 27 yrs. She has always been the blonde bombshell that all the guys talked to and I was always the cute fat girl. Now the tables are turning and I'm getting thinner and she's getting bigger. I pray for no jealousy. I'd really hate to lose my best friend.
  13. I too found that I am freezing all the time. I've only dropped 40lbs so far but damn I'm cold all the time. I'm so not looking forward to the colder weather.
  14. Wow...I'm 40 and just had it done. Weight loss will always be a battle. The surgery is not a cure, it's a tool to help you change your life and only you can change. So if you choose to go back to unhealthy eating it's a choice you made.
  15. You look great jackiemc1987
  16. I tried thin steak 2 days ago for the first time. I think I freaked myself out and only ate 2 bites for fear it wouldn't sit well. I didn't have issues with the 2 bites but I think I'll wait a little longer to really try eating it.
  17. Thanks everyone. I can't wait to hit 50#
  18. I was permitted to return at my 2 week checkup. You have to listen to your body of course. Ask your doctor if it's ok.
  19. Go to as many group sessions as you can they really help. You need to make sure you are seeing a therapist who deals with weight loss not just a general therapist.
  20. So this morning I did my first happy dance. I finally hit 40lbs gone! I've got 5 more days till I hit 2 months post op. Yay!
