Surgery Aug 27, 2015 SW-348 CW-201.8 Just had my husband released from the hospital after 4 days, he fell from a chair he had fallen asleep on (has terrible sleep apnea that has caused narcolepsy) and broke his front tooth and some ribs... the worst part??? His blood sugar was 340. New diagnoses of diabetes!!! He has been my reason for fighting for this again!!! I stalled at about 8 months post op for 3 months!!! I hate roller coasters, I get very sick, but I just rode the Manta at SeaWorld yesterday because it was my sons birthday weekend and he wanted to ride. Guess what? I kinda rode it because I COULD!!! Had just given birth to my firstborn son, recovering from a c section when all the nurses start talking about a the building falling??!!? I had no idea what they meant, I thought the hospital building was falling, I immediately called the nurse and was oddly happy when I found out it was them and not me and my newborn baby, then felt scared as I realized this meant war. What an emotional morning!!! Now my baby is 15 and is constantly reminded of what a horrible day his actual day of birth really was... poor thing Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hoping all the stars align for you, be kind to yourself, you deserve it. Going through all the struggles of overcoming food addiction can take a toll on us, recognize that eating out of your program is bad, a form of self sabotage. I love microwaving some cheddar cheese!! It makes for a great giant chip. I honestly don't miss chips at all, and I was a serious chip addict!!

I'm 10.5 months postie and I've stalled for about 7 weeks now. Don't know if it's gonna last forever, and at times I'm very discouraged but I have to give myself the opportunity to CONTINUE to be successful, so I stick to my meal plans and workouts. There is no end to this way of life. After all, it is my NEW way of life. Saying that, if you're just a few months postie, believe me, you're NOT done. Your body is playing catch up.
