  1. I do not suffer from PCOS but my periods are INSANE still at 9 months post op. I'll have it a day or two, then nothing for a couple days..then spotting again for another day or so... It's getting ridiculous!
  2. Thank you, I may make an appointment with a derm and get their opinion!! As far as the collagen pills go...I'm not too fond of swallowing pills but the bamboo tea sounds promising. Nevertheless, I'd rather have a missing eyebrow than feeling how I used to! Good luck with everything!!!
  3. I am 9 months post op and down 133lbs!! I started to lose my hair at 3months post op and although I'm not bald (yet) I have lost plenty of it.It also became dry and brittle with lots of breakage, so I cut it! I honestly am very happy about it, it looks healthier and fuller and suits my leaner face better than the bun i usually would wear. What I have not been able to deal with is developing alopecia of the eyebrow!!! My doctor is sure it's not related but has yet to order blood work for me since my surgery....YES, I SAID SINCE MY SURGERY 9 MONTHS AGO!!!!! I woke up one day to a missing eyebrow and it hasn't come back in. It's very disturbing and I'm currently changing PCP to try to get lab work done.SMH healthcare.....
  4. IMO, somebody's been talking about you, whether good or bad somebody said something, she didn't go to subway, so how'd she know what you ate? I would just not engage in ANY conversations about your weight loss with anyone. Just kinda blow it off when people make comments (good or bad) and when someone gets pushy about "how much have you lost now" just say you don't weigh yourself anymore. Women tend to be very catty especially when it comes to weight loss! Good luck to you and congrats! You've been more brave than anyone could possibly know.
  5. The dark green BM is sometimes caused by drinking or eating things with red or blue food dye!! (Think artificially flavored grape things) As for the weight gain... You've done it before, you can do it again!! Start with the 5 day reset and do whatcha gotta do!!! Good luck!!!
  6. I run on my treadmill now. I just recently started. I'd say I was weighing 225 when I started (now 219) my treadmill has different workouts like rolling hills, park, I prefer the "coastal trails" It warms you up and also changes the incline! I had to run through the mall a couple days ago as the cashier kept my ATM card, I was in 4 inch heels and ran a good 10minutes (I was in heels ok?) dodging all kinds of obstacles and what do you know? I was able to talk to the cashier without passing out! My 15 year old athletic son was saying Damn mom, you ran and in heels!!! My advice... Be like Nike and just do it!!!
  7. Congrats and good luck!
  8. I've actually done that, I mixed it with a little pb2. It was ok. The easiest way for me is mixing it in with my coffee, I actually enjoy it like that!! Changing things up is essential!!! Good luck!
  9. Best moment was when my 9 year old daughter hugged me and noticed she could finally touch her fingers when wrapping her arms around my waist!!
  10. Ok, so I've been power walking for about 2months now and decided a couple weeks ago that I can start running. At the speed of a turtle but nevertheless running. Now I'm up 3lbs! Is this "muscle"? my monthly visitor has also been visiting a hell of a lot more often lately, once a month has turned into 3 weeks maybe skipping a day or two between visits. But I was still losing when this new phenomenon started, I think it's honestly because of the running!! Whatcha think?
  11. Woo hoo!!!!!!!! Good for you!!!!
  12. I have to say, I never took any narcotics after coming home from 2 c-sections, and the sleeve was a piece of cake. Didn't need pain meds at all. It was a bit painful, but not unbearably so. Good luck!!
  13. Biking is awesome!!! Congrats you look fabulous!!!
  14. @@cindyw41 that's AWESOME!!!!! So happy for you!!!!! It is an incredible feeling. @@KindaFamiliar you make me smile every time you post something, but this made me blush thank you!
