Anyone not telling anyone about their surgery?
Thank you so much!!! And believe me, I've learned to tell them, I don't even weigh myself anymore, don't know don't care... That usually shuts them up![emoji23]

Anyone not telling anyone about their surgery?
I for one was very open about my surgery. I started at 348lbs and losing 100lbs in a couple of months would have been hard to hide. What I do hate about having people know is: 1) I'm always asked "so how much weight now" a week after I saw them last 2) so how much more are you planning on losing? 3) You're gonna have plastics right? If I could go back in time, I would not have shared with everyone. It's ultimately nobody's business. You and only you need to know what's going on in your personal life. Good luck to all of you. This has been the best thing I've ever done for me!!

OMG anyone watch Walking Dead?
Did you watch The Talking Dead afterwards?? I thought I heard them say that the shooting was so raw and real because the cast had no idea who was gonna have a date with Lucille?? How could they not have known? I was half asleep, did I hear that right?

OMG anyone watch Walking Dead?
I'm also mentioning names, just a warning! So, I think it's either A) Glenn, because of his reaction when Maggie was being taunted, Neegan knows by killing him it will make her weak emotionally aside from her obvious physical state Darryl just because he is filming another show (Rides) and the filming times may have clashed. Nevertheless, I was a little disappointed with the finale. I was expecting the cliffhanger but was expecting a whole lot more action! I do think these new "Knights" that Carol and Morgan found, will help our beloved characters in the season to come!! BEST SHOW EVER!!!

Food truck invasion!
And I was so good!! Had dinner before leaving home, took my jug of water and enjoyed all the smells, people watching, and antique car show. Anytime spent with my family is a good time. So blessed!

Protein Bars?
I like quest bars too, but when I want something a little more indulgent and easy, I go for power crunch bars. Super yummy! A chocolate chip quest bar thrown in the microwave for 25 seconds and a dollop of cool whip on top[emoji104][emoji97] = divine!!!

The case of the missing hairs...
Yes, I do fill them in as I have very light hair and barely there eyebrows to begin with. I am looking into microblading. It looks promising but somewhat expensive. I am hoping things will get back to normal as time passes, but if at my 1 yr surgiversary my eyebrows are still missing... I will have some even if tattooing is my only option! I will mention my thyroid to her when I see her, thanks. And congrats on the new baby hairs!!

VSG & autoimmune diseases?
Well, I have Ménière's disease. I was diagnosed at 17, I'm now 37. It affects the middle ear and causes extreme bouts of vertigo. In fact, I was deemed disabled 9 years ago because of it. My WLS can alleviate the results of the falls due to sudden vertigo, as at 350lbs falling usually resulted in broken bones or fractures. Now, very recently, I was diagnosed with alopecia. My eyebrows went missing overnight!! These are both considered auto immune diseases. I've fought so hard to have this surgery to feel somewhat normal/accepted and yet the battle goes on, albeit a different battle but nevertheless a battle. Good luck!!

The case of the missing hairs...
Ok, so I started losing hair 3 months post op. I was ok with that, as I had been forewarned plenty about that happening. It started to get very thin,so on suggestions from my hairdresser, we cut it. I have naturally curly hair. Immediately, I knew it was a mistake! It was so frizzy!!! It doesn't even curl anymore! And to top it off.., I've now developed alopecia of the eyebrows!! Doc is waiting on labwork to come in, but her suspicions are zinc deficiency? I do take a multi, calcium and 10,000mcg of biotin daily. Please vets, tell me it'll get better!! I can deal with thinning, frizzy hair but now no eyebrows??? I just woke up and they were gone?
