I'm a little over three months myself, and that definitely sounds strange. Especially if you haven't been making major changes to your diet. If it continues I would talk to your surgeon. For reassurance, if nothing else. Good luck!

I did mostly Protein and veggies while losing but never completely gave up fruits and whole grains. Stayed away from the white carbs while I was losing. Once I hit goal I loosened up my restrictions and at this point pretty much know what I can eat without gaining. I eat every 2-3 hours but stop before I get full. If I do pop over my bounce range after an especially carb heavy vacation or holiday I just do a couple days of "preop liquid diet" and/or protein/veggie basics and it comes back off. I guess I do keep track of my fluids in my head and get 64-80+ oz in every day. As for protein, I eat a Quest bar and drink a protein smoothie every day. That's 40-50g protein right there so it's not hard to know I'm exceeding 60g with all the protein rich foods I eat. For example, besides my Quest bar and protein smoothie, today I had turkey Jerky, Greek yogurt with Kashi go lean Cereal, a banana, some peanuts, cheesy chicken corn chowder, quest chips with Avocado and garlic salsa, Brussel sprouts, two Hershey kisses and a mini twix from the Halloween candy jar.

A stricture was my biggest fear during pre-op and again post-op. It was the one complication that when talked about freaked me out the most as there was very little anyone could do to prevent one from taking place.
Yes, there are prevention(s) that every doctor recommends but even those who did everything by the book could still develop a stricture.
Fortunately, it is the a simple fix and once fixed makes everything feel better. I try not to worry too much about getting one as I know it is a possibility no matter what.
I have you find relief soon!

Yes sounds like a stricture. They do a endoscopy and dilate wig a balloon. You feel better instantly. Call your Dr first thing Monday. Don't dehydrate. Continue taking tiny sips and maybe just stick to shakes and liquid until you can get in touch with them. Mine happened at 3 months and when they did the first scope they found I had only a tiny pinhole opening so food wasn't getting thru. Tiny sips spaced apart will go thru though.

they're caused by overgrown scar tissue that makes the passage from the stomach to the small intestine too small for much to pass through. I had two early on - same symptoms as you - I couldn't keep anything down. It's an easy fix - they do an upper endoscopy and just stretch out the opening (while you're under). I didn't feel a thing and felt a million times better afterward - and could eat again!

stricture, maybe? Those usually occur early out (within the first couple of months), but I'm pretty sure I've heard of them happening later. Let your surgeon's office know for sure.

I am 5 mos out and can eat almost anything. I can eat a little slice of thin crust pizza. You'll find a few bites of your favs will satisfy you. Sweets don't even sound good to me now. I still love chip and dip. I eat like five chips and I'm done. It's so nice knowing you can't over indulge.

Oh, don't worry about it. I didn't care!! They seen it all. I say it was offle because I was in so much pain that it hurt to move and lower myself down to clean up and change pads. That was offle. I didn't give a damn what they thought lol

Get a divorce so you can sleep around. Cheating on your husband as it seems it's constant, is not right. Remember, what comes around goes around.

I'm 14 months out and 7 pounds below goal right now and working on maintenence. If I partake in any treats, they will be tracked on My Fitness Pal and count toward my daily calorie intake. Those bites and tastes can add up if you don't be careful and hold yourself accountable. I know it sounds like a drag, but this is my life now. I have always had a sleeve of steel, and could pretty much eat anything from 3 months out. Never had anything keeping me from eating whatever I wanted except the desire to get the weight off and keep it that way. That's why I pretty much have to track everything I put in my mouth! It is what it is.

Pistachio and other nuts are a good calories, there is a huge difference between calories from plants and calories from a Twinkie, my nutritionist told to snack on them also I can't digest meats so pretty much nuts and Beans are my main source of Proteins. I lost 110 lbs in 7 months, eating nuts and beans.

Two reasons because I was set on the sleeve.
Reflux...I've dealt with that and heartburn for years
doc said it would worsen with the sleeve. Secondly, I didn't like the idea of my stomach exiting my body. I was told that in the event of an emergency they can reverse the bypass. Can't do that if the stomach is gone. So those were my to deciding factors.

Not normal. Your eating like you didn't have surgery at all. I think it's physically impossible to do that and not be in pain from being full. If I were you I would demand to know the awnser.
