  1. I just started today or I would love to help. What exactly are you struggling with?
  2. That's kinda how I learned about them. A friend's brother had a whole soda station at his house with just about every Torani imaginable. It was pretty amazing. I need to order some more flavors I'm not able to find at the store.
  3. Day 1 on the pre-op full liquid diet and I was just cruising along, but man oh man...I just hit a wall out of nowhere I must do better on packing my new lunches. 1 1/2 hours left of work and I am struggling.
  4. Lol, I think I just responded to that very same thing on another post with you. YAYYYY...3 weeks from today!!! Nervous yet?
  5. Hoorayyyy for the August 17th Club
  6. Late to the party as well, but I live on the outskirts of Houston in Baytown. My insurance had a WLS exclusion so I will be getting sleeved 3 weeks from today in Mexico, just across the border from Eagle Pass.
  7. Where I went did not have coffee flavoring, but I am just adding regular black coffee for now to them. I picked up SF caramel and French vanilla. They have all kinds of syrups that can be ordered online. I am thinking about breaking down and getting a couple to give some variety. http://shop.torani.com/Sugar-Free-Syrups/c/Torani@SugarFreeSyrups
  8. I have been able to find SF Torani syrups in Kroger in the coffee aisle. A friend of mine found them at SAM's Club so they're probably at Wal-Mart as well.
  9. I have unflavored Protein powder to put in broths. I thought I could also mix it in SF pudding or Jello as well as shakes but I bought Torani syrups to try and make my shakes more like frappes. But I definitely understand the consistency is off-putting.
  10. My thoughts exactly. If a total stranger had come to tell me that I would have been mortified.
  11. Wow, such amazing progress. I only ordered my dress one size down from where I am now (there wasn't a dress in my size). I feel like I should be able to fit this dress by the time of my friend's wedding. I would hate to let her down, she knew I was having surgery and though I asked if she may have a backup choice to fill my spot she has stuck with me. She choose lace dresses so it would be much easier to alter down then it would be to alter up.
  12. That's what I have to keep reminding myself! @@rln52, sounds like you and I have pretty much the same pre-op diet plan.
  13. That's what I am doing at home. I just brought a ready-to-drink shake to work.
  14. My surgery is scheduled August 17th. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding exactly 2 months afterwards. Obviously, I had to pre-order my dress and that was the most difficult decision I had to make. What if I don't lose enough...what if lose too much....these questions still weigh on my mind. How many sizes did you guys lose from about the time of the pre-op diet to 2 months out from surgery?
  15. I am very interested to see how my husband's feelings will progress post-surgery. I am so nervous that his insecurities are going to become overpowering. I am hoping/praying/wishing they do not.
  16. I am allowed one cup of creamy soup a day. I haven't purchased any yet. What are you doing?
  17. Started my pre-op today. Have a couple Protein shakes on the menu today, along with some broth, sugar free Jello, and stopping to get egg drop soup on the way home since I am allowed (and love that stuff). I got all my Vitamins in this morning and am just now starting to feel a little hunger so I may go ahead and heat up my broth. I have to keep telling myself I can do this, I can do this...
  18. I'm actually using almond milk. I bought my husband skim milk this go round at the store in case I needed a backup. He hasn't complained yet lol.
  19. I like that idea of having your cupboard and the family cupboard. I think I might have to make that happen when I get home. Pre-op diet started today for me as well, wishing you the best of luck @@rln52 with yours as well!
  20. I just bought all mine at GNC yesterday. A lot of their Vitamins have quick dissolve or liquid options. I went ahead and signed up for their Gold card and it saved me quite a bit.
  21. I'm August 17th and my surgeon requires a 3 week full liquid diet as well. Today is my first on it and I'm just praying to get through this. 3 weeks until surgery, seems so far away but I think it will be here before I know it.
  22. Pre-op diet started today...one step closer!!! Won't be long now.
  23. Happy Birthday and good vibes your way, hope everything goes well!
  24. Glad to see the surgery went well!!!
