Any Texas sleevers in here? I'm a 31 yr old mom of 2(5 & 7), live around Dallas. My surgery is on Feb 9th. Just looking for a good group of people that chat with. I can't relate to older folks having surgery, as I really think the recovery & life struggles will be different because of age.

I'm in north ftw but work in Irving. Had surgery 1/19 with dr. Adam smith.

Hey everyone! I am a 30 year old female from Fort Worth / Keller area. I had gastric sleeve Oct 15 2014 so I am almost 4 months post op. I have lost about 72 pounds but have been at another stall for 2 weeks. Frustrating! How is everyone else doing? I would love to talk with more ladies in my area about our process. It is definitely difficult for people to understand unless they have been there.

Hi apeters9284! Wow, that's fantastic...72 pounds! I don't have my surgery until May 4...I'm so excited...yet, at the same time terrified. Can you give me any advice?

Texas lady here (N.Houston/Woodlands).... hoping to have a March surgery date (self-pay). Nervous but ready to not have my gut in the weight or my thighs rubbing till they're raw (like at outdoor wedding this past weekend )

Anyone here planning to have kids (esp first) after WLS?
