I didn't expect that I'd be down 43 pounds in the first month. I never had a bit of nausea. I had no trouble sleeping and no problems smelling food, though I didn't expect I could smell a cheeseburger 2 blocks away.
I think exercise is really the key to this thing. The people who did this with me haven't lost even half of what I have. I don't think they are doing the exercise.
I finally got cleared for resistance training so I'll be doing some circuit training along with my cardio now. I also run (I'm being generous, it's more like half jog and half walk) with a group at my job every Wednesday at 5:30am. This week we went 4.5 miles!!!

My plan is to build up strength and stamina until I can do a full 5k run without walking. I'd like to be able to do it before my birthday in February.

Also down 4. I'm at 202- praying wake up at a solid 198 next sat on my scale day!!! It will have been 20 years since I saw that weight.... liquid motivation... Break the stall that has taken 1 month..

I am so happy!!!
The scale has not moved for me in over a week and it finally went down a pound and a half!!!!

By the way- I bought 15 bags of candy for my employees and didn't even touch one piece! I have had a big bowl of candy on my desk all month and resisted also!! Woo hoo!! Before wls I would have eaten 90% of that!

I have lost 50 pounds so far since surgery on May 27. Still have 40lbs to go until I reach my goal weight. However my GI doc wants my goal weight to be 140. It feels so good to be in the one hundreds. Have been this light in over 9 years.

I am 148 today! On my way!

I had my RNY done on 8/10/15 and as of yesterday I am down 100 and feeling AMAZING!!! I only have about 45 more to go and my question is how does our body or system know it's time to stop losing more weight? It's coming off so fast it's almost scary not knowing if it's going to stop when I need it to?

Today I went shopping the Factory Outlets in St-Augustine, FL
Bought a few clothes, size L , M and a size S pair of pants at IZOD
Can't remember when I could fit in this and only lost 33 lbs so far , 2 months out.....

Just past my 1 year post op on Oct 15th! I, of course, wish I had lost more and have a hard time always seeing the loss, but I am feeling great! I am down 126lbs and hope to get off another 50-70lbs. Congrats to everyone on this journey! It is not easy or taking an easy way out. It has been difficult and emotional, but so worth it! Be proud!

None of my "warmer" clothes fit! Came to Chicago and needed something different than my Phoenix clothes! Looking forward to cooler weather and sweaters. Problem is not too much fits anymore! Good because I am looking great and losing weight but bad because I really did love some of those clothes I had bought last year! Movin on! Wish me luck in the Windy City as this is my first time away post sleeve!

Just tried on clothes from my brothers wedding in 2008 and they fit with room to move! I was at my smallest ever at his wedding! Very excited to have them fit me! Now I need somewhere to wear them!
