  1. Buy a slow cooker and chuck everything in, switch on in the mornings and it's ready for when you get home. Split into meal sizes and freeze them for another time.
  2. Congratulations on the surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  3. I didn't have the pain in my shoulders but a lot of people have said that walking really helps. Congratulations on the surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  4. I have a comprehensive blood test every 3 months for the first 12 months then every 6 months. My GP give me a copy of the results as well so I can track the results for myself.
  5. Shelly, you look fantastic well done!!
  6. Shelly you look fantastic, congratulations !!

  10. I have used them since the surgery and love them plus my bloods have come back perfect both times. Yayyyyy. I did try the Centrum tablets and they made me throw up but that was a while ago so might try them again in a few months.

  12. @@Sajijoma Congratulations!! I bet you feel amazing ☺ ( I am using my phone and hit send before I should have and then I couldn't edit.. sorry lol !! )

  14. @@sam42 Greek yogurt (best is Total Farge 0% which you can get in Tescos) There are lots of Greek ones but watch the carbs! Cottage cheese, eggs, Milk (highish in carbs though, until in mantenance) Ground beef, turkey, chicken and fish, salmon, halibut shrimps, sardines, light tuna in Water ... Pork is high in Protein too. ( I had fillet of pork with a tiny bit of apple sauce, sprouts, cauliflower and a couple of asparagus for dinner tonight # yum) The Protein powder can be added to coffee (decaf!) and Soups but don't add it when the drink/soup is hot or it will curdle. I also love my protein latte which I have every morning at work. Check out www.myprotein.com - and www.discountsuppliments.com I order a lot through myprotein.com.
  15. @@taysidebell I do, I love it. I used it on and off before having the surgery too and feels it really does keep me accountable.
  16. Congratulations and well done to both of you. Seems you are both right on track! Enjoy shopping in the coming months
  17. You need to really stick to what your team and NUT have suggested especially so early on. I ate a lot of high Protein yogurt and cottage cheese, sticking to the Protein drinks and adding a food every other day and being very careful and over zelous with the puree machine I used. Take it slow so you know what works and doesn't work for you. Best of luck and congratulations on the surgery
  18. Best of luck, fingers, toes and eyelashes crossed for you! Let us know how it goes
  19. Ketosis breath.... shudders. My poor hubby and family lol.
  20. Congratulations, you are an amazing woman and a real good example of how we should work with our sleeve! Four years and maintainging, wow
  21. @@heather5565 I have gone past my goal.. should I change mine too, maybe, no, yes, what if I stall then I will have failed lol
  22. Can you pal up with a buddy to help you through bad times? Or see a therapist around your eating habits, who can support you to make lifelong changes? The first year is going to be when you lose the weight so the sooner you nip this in the bud the better. Do you take account of what you eat, write it down or use a tracker app? Are you having enough Protein/water etc? I have a Protein bar (choc flavoured) which gets me over the chocolate fix. Its very low carbs and about 200 calories so not too bad. I love them but my hubby thinks they taste like MDF, not that hes ever eaten MDF lol! You CAN do it !! Have faith in yourself and the lovely new tiny sleeve you have
  23. Prayers for you both. Please let us know how she gets on!
  24. Monday 14/12/2015 I am 148.8. Hope you had a great time on holiday Steph
