  1. My old scale did, then I got this one and it is always the same and always accurate. https://amzn.com/B001KXZ808
  2. @@MindyMe Your Dr having you on stage 3, and people just moving to stage 3 because they are food addicts with no self control are 2 different things. Don't worry.
  3. @@blackgirlfat That gets better at least it did for me. I was cold the first 6 months. I am colder now than I was being larger but I am not freezing cold all the time. Part of that being cold like that is just because of the low amount of calories you are consuming. When you can eat more you aren't as cold. Just prepare for a cold cold winter.
  4. Usually those sites have a size chart somewhere on them that relate say 1x to measurements.. Measure yourself and compare? Munky I take my measurements every week. Size charts are not accurate on almost any chart. Then if you lose and you are really squishy there are other issues. When you compound that with constantly losing, weekly. Buying clothes is a pain. I have so many cute things I have purchased and never even worn because I waited a week to wear them and they are too big.
  5. @ If you have real breast tissue, it won't go anywhere. I seriously doubt your H cup is all fat. I am still very busty, I just have a smaller band now. The day may come you wish they would shrivel up. I had to relearn how to sit. For a while my butt was hurting all the time, but since I learned how to sit again properly it is not an issue. I am vain so... I miss all the compliments I used to get when I was big. I have always been a makeup, hair, nails, dress to impress kind of chick. When I was fat people killed themselves to compliment me. Now women look me up and down, and don't say anything. Men however smile at me and well... I will just say I miss seeing more friendly to people. Now people are more afraid to approach me. Sometimes I miss being greedy and eating whatever. It is a really fleeting moment because I love my life now and I like how I eat, but yeah I miss pigging out on cheesecake and phillysteak sandwiches now and then. I miss being confident in how I looked. I wasn't a fat person that hated myself. I walked around naked all the time, and after sex. I would never walk around naked now. I don't even walk around naked in the house alone. The loose skin is really doing a number on me, even though I look good in clothes and looking better every day, I feel like a total fraud once I undress. @ Yeah I miss just being able to buy clothes without trying them on. I have to try everything on. Even using my measurements doesn't work with things because my waist is so small and my boobs and hips are so big. So I have to size up in dresses, size down in tops, and pants are ???? I have to try everything on. I used to buy clothes almost every single day online before surgery. I shopped all the time. Now I buy clothes once a month and only thing I plan on wearing within 2 weeks, because they won't fit in 3 or 4. I mean it is a good problem to have but I am glad I am getting closer to goal, because I am over it, so over it.
  6. Yeah I know. That is why I am looking at Florida, because they have recovery houses and I would rather stay at a recovery house than depend on my friends or family. I don't want to be a burden or be that familiar with anyone. I do think for my arms I am going to spring for Dr Capella because he is a true artist. There are just more options for post-op care on the east coast than in the Midwest.
  7. My taste buds never changed. Never been a sugar person. Salt is amazing, and so is fat.
  8. @@smiley1968 If your BMI is low and you don't have fatty liver disease you don't need a pre-op diet. So your sugeon is correct in just having you do the 24 clear liquid diet before surgery to clear you out for surgery. There are a lot of newer, successful Drs that believe the long per-op diet is counter productive and runs patients down prior to surgery. So enjoy that you don't have a pre-op diet and keep your strength up. Going into surgery weak seems counter productive. I was almost dizzy by the time I made it to the hospital.
  9. They don't care if you are on your period.
  10. @@ella37 Mine was very easy. People come into surgery with varying levels of health, and pain tolerance. Then add in some doctors are more skilled than others. People recover very differently. My recovery was easy, and I enjoyed it.
  11. Room temp Water or Water with these http://sweetleaf.com/stevia-water-enhancer/
  12. I watched Fat Doctor UK all day on a loop. I went to bed at 9 PM.
  13. I hope not, they are too high in carbs for sleevers, at least in the losing phase.
  14. Yo, you made a thread about fried chicken on WLS boards. How did you really think that was going to go?!?!!?
  15. @@rolosmom7 I love zoodles but I very rarely have room for any, since I eat Protein first. And no one else lives here so it is kinda pointless to make them 2 bites, but I love them, they are really good.
  16. @@GOM123 My hair is coming back thicker than ever because I am overall healthier. Don't let hair hold you back from surgery.
  17. @@LittleLizzieLilliput If you just got out the hospital, everything you are having is liquids, so you can "eat" and drink all you want. You need all the fluids you can get. When you start eating dense Protein, you won't have room for liquids, and the first time you do it and get overly full you will never take a chance on it again. It isn't as hard as you think.
  18. @@shrusara Never. LOL Never liked them before surgery and the low carb ones are nasty af. However, zoodles are great, but I didn't have room for extra stuff until like 6 months.
  19. @@Who'sThere If I was going to give you any advice, I would say just wait untl 3 months, probably 6 months post-op. It takes a while to learn your new body and how it works and it takes a while for your bowels to regulate. All the sex is more fun when you lose weight, so enjoy that, lol.
  20. @@B-52 Thanks for sharing, I always respect your posts and comments.
  21. My normal shower wrap was ????? this morning (I'll find it) so I just wrapped a towel around myself. Then I realized I really just wrapped a towel around myself and everything was covered. Just a regular towel, not a bath sheet. I am completely thrilled and amazed.
  22. @@Nerdgrl I had fish at 3 weeks but the fish you listed I wouldn't consider soft. You want something white and flaky. Salmon is dense, I rarely if ever eat it. Tuna is dense and can be hard to digest also. The same with crab. You could have lobster, it melts in your mouth.
  23. Any app that lets you easily track your food, I use lose it. A scale to weigh all your food.
