Purchased size 10M pumps, down from a 12W. I have been wearing 11M for about 10 months, but I have been a 10.5 for about 5 months but they are rare, so I never really purchased any. Now 10M are a perfect fit. I never thought my foot would be smaller than a 10.5. I am really amazed. And the last 10 pounds I lost in the past week have made the difference between 10.5 and 10.

You know you lost weight when
I was sitting in the car yesterday and looked down. All I saw was boobs and legs, no belly. Before my belly use to sit in my lap and rub the steering wheel. No stomach in sight. I can look right over my boobs and see my crotch. I sat there for a long time really amazed.

Starbucks
I usually get black cold brew, I add my own cream, if I want cream which is rare, because I just want a dash and they go nuts. When I am running low on calories, my treat drink at Starbucks is a tall flat white.

Negative reactions from friends/family?
@@krystalrose219 I really think it is awesome you are doing this at a young age. I wish I was able to, my entire life would have been very different. I didn't tell people except my really close friends about my surgery, because I didn't want other peoples opinions because honestly I don't care about their opinions. I think at your age though, I would have told everyone and my family. I would have suffered through all their comments. And it would have beat me down. You can't do what is done, but you are just going to have to learn not to care, or it is going to make you crazy. Tell them this is the only option for you and unless they are going to carry around the extra 200 pounds for you, they can pound sand.

Not feeling full
I'm drinking soup and eating yogurt. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App You are never going to feel full on that, those are liquids. When you eat some meat, you will learn what full feels like

Not feeling full
Your goal with the sleeve should never to be full. Being full hurts, and it really hurts early out. Once you get full, it won't be something you strive for. Everyone heals differently. Some people have their nerves take longer to reconnect. You didn't say what you are eating so it is hard to judge if anything you are eating will actually trigger restriction. Even with restriction, you should never rely on feeling full to judge when to stop eating. Measure your portions and only eat those portions.

Tracking troubles/accountability
@@ginabee38 I was terrible at tracking before, and like you, if I ate bad I just wouldn't log it. Like that made it not happen. Post op I HAD to track so I could make sure I was getting my nutrients, I didn't want to be sick or end up in the hosptial. Then after tracking for months, it really became a habit. Then I could see the benefits because you can definitely see patterns in your eating and weight loss that help you fine tune your eating. I started tracking with Fitbit, then when I gave up using my fitbit because if #$^@%^# sucks I started using LoseIt! Premium. The app doesn't really matter though, just that you track. If I get busy for a day and I don't track all day as I eat, I really freak out. It is easiest to track as you are eating so you don't forget things.

Metabolism after VSG
@@Kathy812 No, I meant were you tested by a RMR machine or was this just an estimate by some calculator? If you height and weight here is correct, your RMR should be higher unless something has severely compromised it.

Tracking troubles/accountability
I am religious about tracking my food in apps. Mainly because I have no appetite and without tracking I would never eat enough. I have found that recording everything, even when I go off plan, helps a lot. First it stopped me from having cheat days or cheat weeks. I can see that having one thing, is one thing, and I can still recover the rest of the day. It lets me see that things aren't as bad as I think or they are worse than I think. Like Protein bars for example. I'm not blowing a day worth of carbs on a Protein Bar, when I can stretch those carbs out over the whole day. Recording everything makes it easier to understand your macros in the long term. Like for example I know I can have something out if I eat well the rest of the day. It makes it easier to live this as a lifestyle and not a diet.

Honeymoon phase of not being hungry
Still not hungry at almost 15 months. The honeymoon period however is over. Not being hungry is cool, but I can eat a lot more relatively compared to first after surgery and eating had very little chance of causing pain anymore so I have lost some of my food aversion. I have to be mindful of my portions especially when I am eating out and haven't weighed my food, because I have more capacity.
-
Dinnerware?
I use all my normal dishes and utensils so I am mindful that I am eating smaller amounts and why. Besides if you go to finer dining establishments they rarely fill the plate.

Pizza
@@natarshassleeve If you are willing to cook, 3-4 months? You can make homemade pizza. I was making flat bread pizzas with low carb flat bread on saturdays for a while, Saturday was my "carb" day. I don't eat the toppings off regular pizza because regular pizza sauces have added sugar, and pizza toppings are just sliders. I could eat the toppings off an entire large pizza if I wanted. So I either make my own pizza with low carb organic ingredients or I skip it.

Metabolism after VSG
Did you have your RMR machine tested? It isn't a range, it is an exact number. The place where I have mine tested makes no food calorie recommendations. They just provide the number and the professor will comment on if it is in the normal range for my age and height.

Am I able to eat to much?
Yogurt is a liquid, so it isn't really going to cause restriction. Some people heal faster than others. be happy and grateful, it means you can meet your protein goals easier.

BMI of 21 getting gastric sleeve... thoughts?
What you do not seem to understand is that restriction is really temporary. The first 6 months you have a lot of it. The further out you get, the more you can eat, and the few things that cause restriction. When I was 5 months a Protein bar would have me stuff, at one year they are a slider. Restriction is temporary. It will not save you from binge eating.

BMI of 21 getting gastric sleeve... thoughts?
@@iloveorganicmilk The sleeve won't stop you from binge eating. You will just learn to eat around your sleeve. At one year out, I could binge eat if I wanted to. Like I could eat a whole box of Cookies, a ton of ice cream, milk shakes. The sleeve won't stop you from binge eating, not long term. Really not even short term. You could still try to binge eat early on, and really hurt yourself. The sleeve will not help you, period.
