You will do fine, I was a little scared before my surgery since I never had a surgery before but it was over before I knew it. Slight pain from gas after but mainly just tired and sore. I think it is normal for any surgery to be a little scared.

I tried to see if it was possible to go to Blossom's support group and they told me no because I'm not a patient of theirs. That sucks, the one my doctor has is on the days I work and can't change my schedule.

I still have a couple cans of chicken broth as well. I agree with others, don't stock up until after surgery. Then only taste them before you buy so you don't waste your money.

I wish I would of had food funerals, it would have made it easier.

I just bought Quest chocolate protein powder and I don't like it. lol just thought I'd share.

Dating is not something I know much of, I have been in two relationships and they were women I met at work. Never went on dates with but relationship just happened. So I have no clue how to date. Now that I am wanting to date, I find myself not knowing what to put on my online profile and what to say to a woman either. For now I just see someone I am interested in and send a quick hello with some sort of comment on their profile. No responses yet so don't know how good that advice is. lol

@RetroGirl Hahaha that was funny! I agree that letting others know you had WLS is a personal decision but sometimes you just gotta do it if you can't take the constant offerings. A coworker who didn't know I had it kept commenting on how little I eat and I finally just said that I had WLS so I can't eat like I look anymore. lol
