    Planet Fitness?

They are building one in my town too and it's right across the street from my work! I'm thinking about joining when they open.
  2. Yes be ready for mood swings. The first couple of months I had horrible mood swings. There were some days where I just wanted to stab someone if they even just looked at me wrong. LOL I read is because fat stores hormones and as you lose the fat it releases all those hormones into your system. I'm about four months out and finally this fourth month it seems like everything has finally leveled out and I've been in a fabulous mood.

    Very bad back pains

Yes I would totally reccomend a chiropractor. It made a huge difference in mine. Back specialist sometimes just want to give you pulls or surgery and I'm one of those people that surgery is an absolute last resort. I'd rather find another solution if possible.

    Very bad back pains

Yes!! I'm 4 months out and have been dealing with excruciating lower back pain since I was about 3 or 4 weeks out. All of my doctors have said it's because of the huge weightloss ( I've lost about 100lbs). Unfortunately it's caused my bones and joints to get out of whack. I have been going to the chiropractor two and three times a week for months. He's just now getting everything readjusted so that the pain has decreased majorly. It's been very frustrating though. I always thought losing weight would help my back problems and so far it has only made them worse. It's just been the past couple of weeks that I'm starting to feel better with much less pain. I'm hoping I've finally turned a corner and am on my way to not having to deal with this issue.

    April/May sleevers!

I was sleeved may 13 and have lost 100lbs! Feeling better than I have in years!
  6. I only regret that I waited so long to do it. Had I known I would be feeling this great I would have done it years ago.
  7. I understand. It took over a year for me to get my insurance requirements completed so that I could submit it for approval. It felt like forever. Now I'm exactly for months post surgery and so glad I stuck it out that year. One year in exchange for the rest of my life was all worth it! You can do it! It will all be worth it in the end!!
  8. Yep we've all been there. I just had my second stall at three months out. It lasted about two weeks.

    Going Bariatric Bananas! Lol!

Yes it's normal. When I was on stage one liquids i was starving. When I got to stage two and could have premade protein shakes and thicker soups it made a huge difference. I was still hungry in stage two but not as bad. Once you can do pureed and soft foods you'll see a huge difference and will really feel the restriction and will feel full when you eat. If you can get through these first couple of weeks you'll be fine. I promise.
  10. Totally normal. I'm about two and a half months out now. I remember that first month. Second guessing myself all the time and mood swings galore. You'll get in a routine and it will all get easier as time goes along.

    Feeling left out

I was in the same situation. Weeks three and four after my surgery were the worst. They would all be pigging out on dinner and I just wanted to scream at the top of my lungs!! It gets better. I'm exactly three months out today and they can sit and eat a huge meal in front of me and it doesn't bother me at all. I just thank God I can't eat like that anymore and think of how much better I feel now that I've lost weight.

    Full is different

I totally agree with you!! LOL if I ever accidentally eat too much I get a pain right where my bra band sits. Taking it off helped. LOL
  13. I was sleeve in 5/13 and am down 35lbs! Sounds like everyone is doing great!

    Feeling miserable

I had read that a lot of people went through mixed emotions after surgery but I never dreamed they would have been so drastic. I had days at the beginning when my family would be pigging out on dinner and I was just sitting there with my protein shake and I literally wanted to scream at the top of my lungs how mad I was! other times I had no energy and felt like I could just lay in bed and sleep for like 24 hours straight. now that I'm dropping the weight and feeling better I know it was all worth it! I think that first month it's just such a shock to your body and everything is trying to readjust hence the mood swings. I think in a couple more weeks you'll feel much better. Good luck!

    Feeling miserable

I can relate. I went through major mood swings the first month after surgery. I can tell you it gets better. I'm six weeks out now and feeling 100% better.
