  9. My doctor is Dr. Carlton and I absolutely love him!! He isn't stuffy and uptight like a lot of doctors I've been to in the past. My surgery from band to sleeve was Monday and although I'm pretty sore , the whole experience has been perfect!!
  10. So it hasn't quite been 24 hours since my surgery, but I must say I'm feeling much better already! The physical pain right after was more than I expected, but it has eased pretty quickly. Now I'm mostly uncomfortable. My surgeon is going to keep me in the hospital until Wednesday morning and then I get to Co home and sleep in my own bed! Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk My surgery was on Monday too and I got to go home after recovery (3 hours). I am still really sore but thankful for no nausea. It's just been sip, walk, sleep, etc. lol
  11. My surgery is 9/21 and I'm shocked about how calm I am. Mine is band to sleeve revision and I'm in Dallas????
  12. Abbey is AWESOME!! She's the one that really got the ball rolling for me...surgery on Monday!! Yikes!
  13. Hanging in there...I do feel like I'm so exhausted by about 3:00. And I can't seem to find a protein bar that doesn't taste like cardboard/dirt???? What brands are you guys using for the shakes and/or bars?

  15. Yep, start the pre-op diet Monday also...I really feel like these next two weeks are going to fly by. It's taken a long time to get here but it will be so worth it????
  16. I'm 9/21 too! We got this!????
  17. Hi there , I started the process mid June...I was having problems with my lapband so they did an EGD and found I had a hernia. My insurance is covering that and I'm cash pay for the remainder.
