Thank you everyone! @proudgrammy I haven't been on here much. Just pop in to check on how people are doing randomly but wanted to share where I'm at in my journey. Still some work to do. But I am actually enjoying the changes and eating things I never though I'd like. It's exciting!

Did you check if OJ was ok? I was told No. But you can make your own broth by putting meat in the crock pot, but you'd have to strain it. I was ok'd to have diluted juice.

@lauraellen80 @dlappjr They said they often clog the sleeve so they restrict them. Said if you want eggs, eat boiled eggs. So, that's where I'm at with that. I did find broccoli cheese cream soup today. So, now I will try that to mix up these flavors for the next 2 weeks til purees. 11/16 will be my first day of solids.

@Djmohr I will only be on pureed stage for a week. This soups will be 2 weeks. I hope I can tolerate meat. And I want an egg. But she did just tell me today dairy may be difficult.

@jane13 My dr said same to strain, but then said it was fine to just puree the soup so no chunks. I did that, was a lot easier. I have a Ninja w a puree setting. I won't be able to have scrambled eggs for 6 months. I will have to look up cream of broccoli cheese. I have just broccoli!

I am already anticipating pureed foods ha! And I hope the soup is what I expect too! Honestly, broth has been my save right now because I am so tired of diluted apple juice. I'm taking this jello back. I only survived one day. Not because it's bad, I just don't want it! I'm not hungry. Just long for a different taste. And to chew again...but that's later :-)

I buy ferrous glucanate and it's 324mg. My insurance covers. Ask if dr will write arcs for your supplements. I can't take ferrous sulfate because it makes me sick where I dry heave. Your dr may recommend a diff iron. There are a few I have learned

I take both.
