I was APPROVED !!!

My surgery is scheduled for May 20th

So, here are my before and currents to keep the topic moving.

Current as of last week:

I know I was not allowed to be on any medication 10 days prior to surgery.

I just got my phone call this afternoon. Aetna sent my approval over to the surgeons office this morning. I have an appointment tomorrow to schedule surgery. It took them about a week to get it done.

After months of getting ready for this day it is finally here. I received my psych evaluation form yesterday and today my coordinator will be submitting my packet to Aetna! I pray that I'm one of those lucky ones who knows the verdict within a matter of a couple days. I'm pretty sure I won't be sleeping until I know!! #onestepcloser

Call every day! I've heard that it does help!

7 weeks after opp

Hello all!
So I had my real first OMG moment.
I went dress shopping for a wedding I'm in, left picture is 2 weeks after surgery, jan 19th and right picture was today! April 12th.
Same dress but 5 sizes smaller.
84 pounds down from
December 27th 2015.
I was blown away by the side by sides. I can't stop looking and smiling at this picture!! This is, by far, the best thing I have ever done for myself. Today...I'm very proud! ????????

10 months post Op 115 down

4 months out 90 lbs down!

POD3 for me, sleeved 4/20! Doing good, muscle pain in stomach but tolerable, I feel so good I sometimes wonder if it was really done. Not liking the taste of shakes right now but getting at least 40_50g of Protein in.

I am 4 days post op and sweety i am feeling amazing my face is shrinking and I am loving every minute of my new life the burps they hurt but other than that i am thinking thin from now on ????

I was so doubtful I would get an approval and had almost given up. However - my fabulous insurance coordinator was awesome and we received the call in 3 days!
Excited.......scared......nervous......happy and so grateful to finally get started!

Thursday!! Today is Sunday. OMG! It has been a long, hard road with many hoops to jump through, and now, "suddenly", it's here! I am nearly there. I am nearly sleeved. I'm nearly having a difficult time with pain from a drain, and not able to drink a bottle of Water at one sitting. I'm nearly barely able to eat a tablespoon of greek yogurt at a sitting. My life is nearly changed for the better. One day soon I will be searching my closets for smaller clothes which I saved back from when I was smaller. I'm so excited to begin this journey to health and happiness, I am nearly able to polish my own toenails, to lace up my shoes. Nearly able to run up a flight of stairs and not be winded and keep up with my grand kids. It's Sunday...I'm nearly there!

I just had surgery last week. I have Aetna and " net" means over the whole course of evaluation. I had a 6 and 2 pound gain but overall loss. My approval was in less than 24 hours.
