OH MY GOODNESS!!! Did you guys see the threat with my new PUPPY ON IT!!!! AHHH I need a labodamy not a new band!!!! I was on my way to a hair appointment yesterday and on the north side or west whatever that is there, I see a bunchof PUPPIES in a pen on the side of the road. There she is..the only light colored puppy. I'm late for my hair appointment I'm elling my self I'm nuts don't even think about it. Then the next thing I'm doing is calling the hairdresser and canceling and making a U TURN!!! Well the next thing I know she is on my lap driving home with me!!! OH WHAT A NUT I AM!!!! She is adorable! Sandy our lab (7) and Poose the cat (3) are adjusting quite well. Jim and Kelly can't stop smiling and Garry I think is in love..lol...I took her to the vet and she is a TRUE MUTT. So we have no idea what she is. We don't have a name for her yet but I keep calling her Missy. So I need name help gang! OK still no news from insurance company...urgh! Melissa- WTG!! you are doing great! And thanks so so much for all your encouragement! Jen- Shad Helmstetter wrote a book call what to say when you talk to yourself. He also wrote one on weight loss. Well today I have a hair appointment! Hopefully this time I will make it there!! Oh as far as loosing a # for our meeting on the 18th...I'm backing out of my 8 and I will be happy at 2.

she is 8 weeks old, 4 1/2 pounds (did anyone lose that last week? lol) She is a total mutt! They told me she was shitzu and laso opso (lol SP?) But the vet said thathe thinks she has some distant chow in her and a whole bunch of stuff he really wasn't sure. She is a sweet heart! Slept really well last night. I just couldn't sleep because I was so excited! Isn't she cute!!!

I'm going to curves 3 times a week and doing crunches everday. I know I need to walk more but that will happen perhaps this month.

And I have a question too, but first I want to tell you all how sad I am. And how great I think it is that you all are still coming here for support. Are you going to get rebanded? How long do you have to wait? Do you have any restriciton from the scar tissue? Do you regret that you ever had it done?

Happy February!! I am in a much better mood today. I still haven't heard fromt he insurance company, but I am really now thinking that I should hold off a few weeks and enjy the visit with my grandmother. After all I would hate to be on liquids and mushies while she's here. She makes great meals..lol at 97...I don't know thats just how I'm thinking this second. I really appreciate all the suport that you all are giving me. I put out a thread yesterday just asking if anyone had ever heard of a band leak and I only got 1 reply. She said her Dr. told her about it and that after 200 bands he had 1 with the leak. So I am special huh..lol.. I think when I get my date I will then post it so others can know that there is a slim chance, but it happens. Ira- Happy Birthday to you!!! Zan-Glad your mom is better. I bet you enjoyed those 60 degree days! Patty-Any word on the little girl? How are you doing with all this. Jan-You much be so relieved that you are not going to have medical problems due to weight! Just got a call from my girl friend. They submitted her paper work on Friday and she got appoved today. She is changing her mind on the band and wants to see if they'll do the bypass. Wow time sure flies when your having fun. Before we know it it will be SPING!!:xena_banana: We all have a lot to look forward to this month. We have new bandsters joining us.:clap2: We have another month to change our eating habits :hungry: We can begin today to think positive thoughts even when we don't want to.:decision: We can look back at the clothes we were wearing a month ago and say that old thing just doesn't fit right, time to get a new one!!:whoo: We can continue to support and care for one an other.

Wednesday I'm in a better mood today!!!! Do e want to start new monthly threads? B-yogart L- D- 80 crunches & curves I think I'm up a pound. Oh well I am still in a god frame of mind. I'm also thinking that I'm going to wait and have my grandmother come and then have the surgery. I don't know thats what I feel like this morning....

Actually I am going to postpone her coming most likely. I spoke with my aunt today and she agrees that we should reschedual her for later in March or early April. I feel things being lifted right off me!!

Angie what a bummer insurance can be a pain!! You should still go on the 18th. I'm going to even if I'm on mushies. They have great white chili there that is soft! You have been doing so fantastic. You mental attitude is what is so great. Don't let this get you down. I know how easy that is to say and how hard to accept!!!! Hang in there. Write in your journal how difficult a time your having. It might help. It ususally does for me.

Wow that is terrible. I am so glad that you found this wonderful Dr. She sounds great! It is so true that something good comes out of something bad. Feel better.

Good morning. I slept ALL NIGHT! Yahwhooo! LOL You know before I had this band I spoke with a friend who had had the gastric stapling band surgery/they don't really do it anymore but back then it was the safest WLS around. She had it in 97. I asked her if she was sorry that she did it. Her reply to me was it was the best thing she ever did in her life and she would do it again in a heart beat. So Beannie, and everyone else, I have to tell you, I am doing it again in a heart beat! It is scary I did have doughts and do now, but I have gone from a size 24/26 really pushing those 26's to a 18/16 from 268-222 in 4 months and 5 days. It is the best thing I ever did for me in my life, and I would even do it again in a heart beat..lol...kicking screaming and crying...lol...but thats just normal head stuff. The recovery, I have to keep reminding myself, really wasn't bad at all. I remember waking up and I was amazed at how it wasn't bad at all. So hang in there and just remember it is so worth it! And thanks for reminding me!!!! Eileen I will PM you thanks. Your really great. Sherry you go girl! Kick that dude! What a jerk! Jan thanks for the exercising encouragement. You guys are great! I have actually been thinking liquids wouldn't be to bad, but not that I think about it 3WEEKS ugh..lol...I know the first 2 will be no problem. Ok I am thinking and you know how I do that, but I want to run this by you. My grandmother as you know is suposed to come on the 16th. I'm thinking I should wait till she leaves to have the surgery. Garry and my mother think I'm nuts. I don't want to wait but I don't want to be on mushies while she's here and be sore. I don't want to cancel her visit because she's 97!!! So am I crazy to wait till she leaves. It is on my mnd I do want it over with ASAP. Ahhh I don't know what to do. I know I'm worring before I have anything to worry about but, I think it's planning rather than worrying. If I could change her flight then I'd do it in a second and have the surgery as soon as possible. blahblah blah..sorry
