  1. 262lb today - lost 6lb on my first week of the pre-op diet.
  2. Is that the Company? BP, I Googled it but I only see BPI Protein bars. Is that it? BP = Bariatric Pal, as it says in the title. You know... that site/app you're on?
  3. My pre-op diet gives me about 55-75g protein and 60-80g carbs.
  4. I don't think that needs a sarcasm disclaimer - I think you're actually correct.
  5. Mine's on December 8th and I've been on the pre-op diet for six days now. It's actually been easier than I expected (and I didn't ever think it'd be too difficult). I use My Fitness Pal, too.
  6. Call and ask what weights you've previously advised. If they want a reason, tell them you're creating a progress chart or something and want your numbers.
  7. How are you going with it? I'm quite liking mine, but I'm allowed to have food as well.
  8. Use your vanilla base and add essences e.g. strawberry, banana. You can also try things like mint essence in your chocolate shakes.
  9. f**k, I love this place. Carry on. Edit: Where is my upper case F? I used an upper case F and the censoring changed it to lower case! Who is the programmer responsible for this?!
  10. I lost 53lb earlier this year. I thought it was gone forever, this time. Then I put 27lb back on... If it was so easy for us to keep it off we wouldn't be considering surgery!
  11. I've bought dozens of items for 'later'. Mostly things on sale or that I just really liked and knew they wouldn't be available later on.
  12. 268 today - up from last week, but I went a bit overboard on the weekend as I started my pre-op diet today.
  13. What the hell does this guy DO?! Ohhhh...
  14. You wash your mouth out!
  15. Wow. OP's issue is definitely not ok, but this is in another league entirely.
  16. Mine starts Tuesday but I was planning to start tomorrow. Are you allowed any food or is yours liquid only?
  17. slack but I know I have to do better Congrats on the approval! I get slack with Vitamins, usually, but I also take two prescribed medications so I'm planning to keep my vitamins close by to remind me. I just need to think of it as another prescribed medication, I guess.
  18. Ha, I used to work for one of the Big 4. I can just imagine how that would've gone down
  19. It's not just about privacy - having your email address provided to countless strangers is not ok, either.
  20. I wonder if you could do a phone (even Skype?) meeting; that way distance wouldn't be an issue and you could just use whoever is free first.
  21. I ask for a receipt for petty cash. Then go home and eat them all myself.
  22. If you don't want to wait, then don't wait.
  23. Have you done a search on the forum?
  24. I'm booked for 8th December, too. I'll start my two week pre-op diet on the Tuesday you have your appointment. Three Optifast products a day plus unlimited select fruit and veg. Also allowed sugar free jelly, lollies and gum.
