  1. Goldfish crackers: http://www.pepperidgefarm.com/ProductLanding.aspx?catID=722 No goldfish were harmed in the making of those crackers.
  2. Being full and being hungry (or not hungry) are two different things. I'm at 9 months, and I rarely if ever get hungry. I eat the amount I'm supposed to eat; I don't eat to get full.
  3. I.... uhhhh... you.... uhhh.... dkaoiejg... you... mumble.... drool....
  4. Are you uncomfortable? If you're not in discomfort, I would do nothing. You're having mostly liquids, it may take a while for something more solid to move through your system enough to make it to your large colon. Even if you're eating something solid, it may not have enough Fiber to actually produce any stool.
  5. I love you guys. And not in that slutty way that we like. Okay, some of you I do love that way.
  6. I've been less active around the forums lately - I know we all go through it, our interest waxes and wanes. Sometimes I feel like I have nothing to contribute. Sometimes I feel like I'm just at a different place in my life now, and I'm no longer desperately searching for as much information as I can find. Someone wrote to me privately recently, and told me that my post about coming out as poly gave her the courage to come out to some of her family as poly. The words that I keep seeing like a flashing neon sign are these: "I really admire you for your authentic living - I am not quite there yet (as evidenced by this private msg and not public on your thread)." Welllllllll. Time to confess I'm human. And I don't like it one little bit! I've been hovering between 246 and 247 pounds for 17 days now. Am I in a stall? Hell no. I've let things creep back into my life that shouldn't be there. Alcohol. Snacks. Not enough fluids. I'm human. Make it STOP! Being human is wayyyy overrated! F**k!
  7. There are around 30 grams of carbs in the banana alone, depending on the size. That's too much for a snack or even a meal for me. I container of dannon light & fit greek yogurt has 9 grams of carbs and 12 grams of Protein.
  8. I thought you were going to have a naughty tale to tell, since this is the naughty section!
  9. I think you need a little smile, so here goes. I know that "sx" is an abbreviation for "surgery." Still, every time I see your headline, I see it as "not calling me to schedule sex." And then I giggle. Yeah, I'm a dork sometimes.
  10. At 15 days out, pain that wakes you up or prevents you from sleeping isn't normal. I would go to the E.R., it does sound like you need a scan on your spleen. I would also talk to your regular doctor and ask what are the odds that your spleen was bleeding and your surgeon was NOT responsible. That's something that I think needs exploring.
  11. @@WLSResources/ClothingExch I bought it for the naked people covered in food!
  12. Okay, how about this... if your mouth is going to be where the oil has been, it's not a bad deal. Would I say it's awesome? No... I prefer things to be more... "natural". LOL.
  13. Better than a mouth full of Vaseline or baby oil. LOL.
  14. I should have said more about her age. She has gotten more and more conservative as she has gotten older. I have a cookbook called "Intercourses" - the subtitle is "an aphrodisiac cookbook." Here: http://intercourses.com/book.htm I bought it for the beautiful photography (is that like saying, "I read penthouse for the forums"??). She pitched such a fit about me having "a disgusting book" in the living room that I put it away.
  15. Every morning at 10 am call your doctor's office and ask if the paperwork has been faxed in. If they say yes, call the insurance company and ask them. If insurance says no, call your doctor's office back. The squeaky wheel gets the surgery date. Every morning at 10 am call your doctor's office and ask if the paperwork has been faxed in. 16. Happy START OF YOUR NEW LIFE DAY!
  17. Walmart carries them (in my town, anyway), as well as grocery stores. Eggface has a blog with recipes; she uses them a lot.
  18. Last week I came out to my 72 year old mother (who lives with me), as being poly. I told her that the one guy I'm dating is married (his wife pretty much set up our first date), and the other one I'm interested in, has a live-in girlfriend of a number of years. She immediately jumped to, "there will be jealousy and your heart will get broken." I tried to explain to her what poly was about (in my world, as there are a lot of different types). All in all, it went a lot better than I expected and it's easier not having to be vague and secretive anymore. The thing about my poly is, I can take it or leave it. Having a full-time relationship that meets all of my needs is great. I'm not in one right now. Having more than one part-time relationship that together meets all of my needs is great. The one person that I know right now that I would consider getting to know better, and would like to explore a single, full-time relationship with is in a traditional, monogamous marriage. So unless his situation changes or someone just FREAKIN' LIKE HIM comes along, I'm good with where I am now. A couple of days after coming out, I picked up a book about open relationships that will be discussed at a poly book club meeting that I'm going to attend. Mom asked if she could read it when I was done. Color me SHOCKED! No real question here, just sharing a part of my life that I've kept under wraps.
  19. What is your max out of pocket? You can expect that they will want their portion up front. If you haven't met your max out of pocket, write the check. If you have, you may want a three-way conference call so that your insurance company can tell them that you won't have any further cost. I wrote a check for $3,000 on the day of my surgery, as I expected. Later I paid a small amount after everything had processed. Just because a hospital charges $38,000 doesn't mean that's what the fee schedule rate is.
  20. I'm 8 1/2 months out, and I eat between 1/3 and 1/2 cup at each meal, three meals a day.
  21. Well now we know who to blame for the madness!
  22. Good lord yes. Do you really want to know that I like my (blank) to be (blanked) with a (blank)? REALLY?
