    Spanx for men?

Check out the Under Armor tactical compression crewneck. It's essentially a compression t-shirt. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DU0XLE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

    My Story So far..............

Hi gents, just found this post using a search for "rugby". I had my surgery on 11/12 and am down 100 lbs. Was away from rugby for several years and just returned the spring. Biggest problem is now finding a position, I am not quite the prop I once was, two short for the second row and not quick enough (yet) to be a loose forward... Getting there thought.

    No energy !

I was the same way before starting pureed foods, sometimes had trouble holding my head up. I have rebounded now and am starting to have a bit more energy.
  8. Well, I would always go with what your doc says, they have literally seen inside of you. That being said, from what I can tell from reading the forums, there appears to be a wide range of orders from different docs on this issue. My orders were 1 week Clear liquids, 1 week full liquids, i week pureed and then on to soft foods and regular diet as tolerated, however at my one week followup, I was told that the weeks are just a guidline and it does not have to be exact. I would contact your doc if you are having a hard time.

    OVER 300 lbs

I started at 363 before pre-op diet, day of surgery was about 342, 12 days post op 318. Chugging towards the 200s
  10. My surgeon told me to take my prilosec but not my blood pressure medication as they can give that to you in your IV
  11. Thanks for your reply. My thought was that I have proven to myself that I can lose wieght when necessary by losing a bunch with the liquid diet, but I tend to agree with AlwaysVegas, I have done that before and a permanent tool is going to help me.
  12. So I am new here, but have lurked about the forum for some time. My pre-surgery liquid diet has been very successful and I have lost over 20lbs. Awsome, but the question of whether I rushed into the surgery option is naturally creeping in now. Anyone else have this thought? Also, just looking for any last minute advice, if you had one thing to tell someone to prepare them, what would it be?
