I went clothing shopping today and actually ENJOYED it!!
It hard to know what size to grab because I still see myself as bigger so I take a whole range. When the size small sweater actually fit me I clapped and did a happy dance!! I could have cried. Spent too much money on clothes today but I so needed them and it was such a treat to spoil myself!!
I can remember 6 months ago when I hated clothes shopping and the clothes I tried on were always too small instead of too big. I'm so grateful for my sleeve and proud of myself for working hard on this journey!!!
And...you should have seen my boyfriends face when I showed him my cute new skinny jeans and tight T-shirt. Haha! I told him "they make me feel so skinny". He replied "that's because you are so skinny...and sexy".
What a difference 4 months can make!!

Yesterday marked 6 months since surgery. I am down 68lbs. The picture on the left was last year. The picture on the right was taken yesterday.

This thread is amazing !! I am so happy for every single one of you !! This has just reconfirmed that I am doing the right thing in having this surgery. I'm scheduled for December 17th, and this just gave me the boost I needed to get through the preop diet. Congrats to every single one of you!!

6 months post op today. Down 120lbs

Hey everyone. Here is me before at 245 and me now at 118. I'm 5'6 and 35 years old.
I'm definitely at goal of not a bit under weight now. I'm working hard on maintaining and not losing anymore.
I had surgery about one year ago.

Here is day of surgery April 2014 and last week November 2015.

Loving having my picture taken. That's a huge one for me now!

November 2014 and November 2015, down 83lbs since then

Tried on dresses the other day, and couldn't find the size I needed in one of them. Asked the fitting room attendant if they had any, and she came back saying, "I'm sorry, miss, we don't have any smaller than a 6, but we may be able to order you a 4." Never thought I'd hear that!!!!!

Getting family photos done and seeing them after and when picking the ones you want, you base off your husband because for the first time EVER you feel beautiful in ALL of them!!!!

This is a BIG one for me. I bought regular calf sized boots (not wide) and did not die after wearing them to a party!
(Check out the leggings! Lol. I was proud of myself for wearing them outside )

We have all been where you two are (except for the awful leukemia, so sorry). But the denial, wishing we had done this years before, anticipation, being scared.....but the vast majority have no regrets! I was 57 when I was sleeved and it changed my life.....you two have much to look forward to. If you are interested....read my blog; I kept it faithfully every week for the first year, it might give you an idea of what to expext and inspire you! This October will be my 3rd anniversary and I am still at goal.....(ok, just a few lbs over what I would like to be!).

Down 130lbs! Size 24 to a size 14. Still have around 40lbs that I would like to lose. I would like to lose it by my 1 year surgiversary on 3/25/16. Just gotta keep trucking!

It's been a while since I posted -
But photo 1 was Santa photos last year - I was sleeved in feb this year - almost 70kg down and feeling amazing !
Everyone is looking fantastic - love the support this brings me on here !

When you get on an airplane... You actually fit in the seat with room, and you have tons of leftover seatbelt. :-)

2 months out and 55 down. Have another 100 I want to loose, but also love seeing the difference.

After: 178.8 lbs
I'm not done yet, but I'm loving this "after" already
