Wait until you reach one year. My 1 year is coming up very soon. A year ago I never imagined that I'd be this thin or in shape. Hang in there. Regret is normal. Just remember you can't reverse it and just look at it in a common sense way... I always think to myself, I've done this for my health and because I want to live longer.

Take the trash to the curb and bring sexy back and send him on his way. If you want to make him jealous, tell your getting it on with girls and then tell him he made you lesbian... oh don't do that, I'm just a spiteful person.
I strongly urge you to see a counselor. It has helped us sooooooooooooo much. It is expensive but I just said I'm going to work more.

The blonde makes me look so much younger lol. Here's a good before and after. Obviously the before was taken right after surgery. I was miserable. The after was taken 3 months after surgery.

Its a life changing operation. It changes your entire life style for the better of course. Even if you only lost 40 lbs, thats 40 lbs less than you have been able to lose. The surgery is well worth it. No regrets here.

Hang in there. It isn't over yet.
It takes a lot of discipline to stay on track. There aren't really any tricks to it. It's a matter of controlling what you eat.
I am a gay male and I can't stay at the gym 2.5 hours. your friend has gotta be hot if hes spending that much time there lol.
I get up at 4am every morning and go to the gym for 1 hour and 15 minutes, 7 days a week and never miss a day.
A therapist? What is a therapist going to do for you? May I suggest instead a work out buddy who pushes you and drags you to the gym and helps keep you on schedule?
My hubby and I started going to the gym in January of this year. In fact, everyone was going. Out of all of them, I'm the only one still going. I try each morning to get him out of bed and drag him with me, but he just sleeps. He is a tooth pick and he doesn't really need to go. I've also tried to guilt him, tell him I'm getting fat again because of him, asked nicely, I've tried everything. The gym is more enjoyable when I have someone to go with. So for now, its just me, spotify and my bottle of sobe every morning. I've come to know the morning employees really well and even text with them and hang out with them sometimes.
Another suggestion, instead of a therapist, why not go see a doctor and ask them about a weight loss prescription pill? I know there is one that has topamax in it and trust me, just topamax by itself will help you lose 20 lbs without trying. Just an idea to help you get back on track.
Remember you can't give up once you reach your goal weight, you have to stay on track and keep on going.
I have a weaknes for white reese cups that are frozen. I can finish and entire bag in one sitting. Since I started working out more, I find I'm more hungry and do everything I can to fight the hunger.

Believe me... The statement that no one likes the cute fat boys... soooo off... LOL. I can admit I'm a little bit conceited and for the most part I've never been told no. I'm extremely charming and even when I was at a high of 320 lbs and I was single after a 10 year relationship... I met someone in less than a month and November makes 2 years for us. In that one month time period, I went on 10 dates and all 10 wanted something long term... I had to weed out the bad and find who I was really looking for.
So I gotta say on that end, don't be insecure. Usually the little people like us because we're great heaters in the winter time... we obviously know how to cook or can get take out really quick etc.
I used to love to keep the AC on 60... now 78 is considered cool for me. I'm cold all the time now but I bought a mattress warmer so hopefully it'll go un-noticed that i don't produce as much body heat lol.
I'm engaged to a pencil stick. They say opposites attract and I think its true. My last relationship did end because I got so big... but that was for the best, no regrets.

I keep asking... are you sure your still going to love me in six months when I'm not as big... the answer I keep getting is yes... and apparently my height was the big turn on.
I've heard that husbands get very secure with the wife being larger because they feel like they don't have to worry... they do love you but they don't think anyone else wants someone bigger... then you lose the weight, your a hottie all over again, he's looking at you differently, getting paranoid and jealous and then bam, he thinks your cheating or he just can't get it up anymore... so then I think you need to sit him down like a child... give him a pep talk... tell him that you feel your relationship is lacking in the sex department (this is me being devious ), you expect him to improve his performance and start getting testosterone injections... and I gotta say that stuff is amazing... a few treatments, confidence returns and then you'll have to keep him on a leash and blinders on him like a horse.

I don't deny that there are underlying issues before the surgery, but I think things feel more intense after it. It's just another thing for them to throw in your face.
I've been getting yelled at lately about my surgery, being told I did it for attention, I've even heard I did it so I could meet someone new... It is a huge change and its a life change, so be ready for it.

aww. That's so sweet. When I was in Mexico, a man told me a story about him and his wife. they had been married for 22 years. He said he was around my size when they met. She was a hottie and in shape. He was pretty big. He said his biggest worry all these years was that his wife would leave him because of his weight... then he said he realized that their love was stronger than he imagined because she was right there with him while he was getting surgery and told him it was his choice and she loves him regardless of weather he does the surgery or not. He told me that they both even dieted together, she lost weight and he gained. She still stood by him. He said that he hopes everyone can find their true love like he did and he was pretty dang lucky.

It takes a lot of work. I'm guilty of grazing.
It's hard to over eat and if you do, no worries you will puke it back up.
Keep in mind that it is a complete life style change. You need to exercise and workout everyday and eat right in order to take the most advantage of your sleeve. Remember, its only a tool... you gotta pitch in some work too.

I'm wondering how many people you know that have got the Gastric Sleeve Surgery as a result of seeing your success?
I've seen 7 people now get it. 4 of my family members are getting it this year. They have said I've inspired them and I made it look simple. I've told them to use the surgeons that this forum suggests for the $3800.00 price. I've even offered to help them pay for it if they need it. I wish I would have done this 10 years ago.
I can't wait for all of us to get pictures this time next year and see the changes.

pinkbunies got a reaction from VSGAnn2014 in BE HONEST SLEEVERS, did anyone think okay they are going to cut half of my stomach off and the weight will just fall off?
I never once thought about that. My biggest worry was... I thought they would put a thing in my weenie...forgive me I can't think of the medical term... but the thing that allows you to pee through a tube... so please find humor in that.
I knew that it was not reversible and knowing that this is what they would do for people who had stomach cancer and it actually worked made me feel a lot better.
I am happy I can't eat two extra large pizzas any longer in one sitting. I'm happy I'm not drinking 6 two litter diet cokes a day. I'm happy I'm not eating 6 double cheese burgers from McDonalds as a snack any longer. I'm just amazingly happy.
