I use Premier Ready to Drink chocolate shake in my coffee. It does not lump up at all.
coffee is a diuretic and contains acid. I am fine with my Columbian Decaf. Occasionally I have real coffee but I don't make it a habit.

I had rny on Nov 9th and as of today(yesterday actually) my pants that were a laughing stock and wouldn't go over my knees are now on my waist and closed! I tried them on last week and I could get them up but not closed and this week, they are closed! So excited! I changed out all of my clothes in my closet too and bagged and tagged the old stuff that is too big for the Goodwill! I have lost 1 pant size and 2 top sizes now! It's starting to get exciting!!! ☺️

i like the Premier ready made Protein shakes. 30 grams of Protein. I buy them at costco. 18 for $24.99. Sometimes they have the case on sale for $19.99.
They are convenient and don't taste bad. I put the vanilla and chocolate ones in coffee as creamer. The strawberry and creme is tasty as well.

Great advice. Sometimes we want all the weight off so bad, that we don't acknowledge and appreciate the weight that has come off.
I am thankful to be down 74 pounds. And I am earning to change how I communicate that. Over the weekend my cousin asked how much I had lost? My response was I have lost about 70 pounds but I still have 100 more to lose!
I will stop discounting my sucess today. The next time someone asks my answer will be "I have lost over 70 pounds and I look and feel great!" Period. Because that is the truth.

When I told my closest friend of 30 years that I was going through the process to get Gastric sleeve bypass she fell silent. I knew she wasn't happy about it. I've always weighed less than her and to her that meant I didn't need to lose more than she was willing to. I have been working with my Fitbit for about 2 years now and have had MS diagnosed since 2007. I developed gestational diabetes which turned into Type 2 diabetes. Despite changes to my diet and exercise my health is declining. My doctor recommended the surgery. Now, I have tamped up my health regimen and my husband bought me a new Fitbit scale. She became livid that he would waste 120 dollars on a scale. She argued and belittled and snubbed me because of a scale. I gave her several ways out so she could tell me what's really wrong. We have now not talked in a month. Her husband called me yesterday to tell me he thinks she is jealous and that's why she was so mean to me. He wants me to call her to give her a chance to apologize. I know that she won't receive the call that way.
I was hurt by her and this isn't the first time her jealously has put a wedge between us. We hadn't talked for years before because of her bullying one of my children and beating her own. I forgave that and as I am older I kinda feel like with the shedding of weight and poor health.. It's time to shed people who only feel good when I'm not doing so well or as they perceive better than them. I was her biggest cheerleader through the trials in her life. I think now it's time to be my own cheerleader. I can't compromise on doing better for my own quality of life.

This is my lunch go-to; I eat it almost every day and never seem to get tired of it:
    Buffalo chicken salad
Shredded chicken breast, about 9 oz. (I usually poach my own, but I've also used canned or the Perdue Short Cuts)
    2 oz. crumbled blue cheese
5.3 oz container plain Greek yogurt
    chopped celery/onion
    garlic powder/dried dill/S&P to taste
Frank's Red Hot until it's at your preferred spice level.
This lasts me all week, and I typically eat it with Pork rinds or 34 degree crackers.

Nope. I don't miss my stomach.
I also don't miss my big floppy boobs that blocked my view of my feet when I tried to groom my bits.
I don't miss my squishy lap that stopped me from painting my own toes.
I don't miss my fat thighs rubbing together for the everlasting chub rub.
I don't miss the boils where my fat overlapped.
I don't miss my chubby feet that forced me to look for wide shoes or go up a size.
I don't miss my fat ass that didn't fit into theater seats or through turnstiles.
I don't miss my second (or third) chin.
I don't miss my fat calves that wouldn't squeeze into tall boots.
I don't miss my fat neck that made turtle necks feel like they were squeezing me to death.
I don't miss all the fat on my arms, my torso, my chest that stopped me from wrapping my arms all the way around my loved ones and giving them the hugs they deserved.
Nope. I don't miss a lot of things since surgery...NOT AT ALL.

    Miss my stomach ???
SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT................that thing was wore slap out for a while now.
Hell, my jaws are now happy. They were tired of chomping, chewing and working way to dang hard.
    i don't miss my stomach, I don't miss constant back pain......I don't miss knee pain at every step.........I don't miss a thing.
It's nice to look down and see.......my junk. I swear it may even be growing, too.
I don't miss the food & drink that I abused to achieve such a heavy weight.
I not going to miss shopping at the oversized dude store.
I'm not going to be missing......for much longer anyway.....the motorcycle jacket that wore in college 25 years ago. That jacket kept me from getting too scraped up in a couple wrecks. It'll feel great wearing it again with the same style Levis I work in college, too.
I miss nothing and look forward to EVERYTHING.

Newbies go through so many feelings as they're transitioning to a sleeved life. We all did. All changes in life require us to adapt. And we do.
Months later, years later -- which is what matters -- it's a whole different deal. You just adapt. It feels normal.
    It really does.
