Hey, I'm waiting on approval from UHC an hope they approve me. I'm so sorry they denied you - are you going to appeal - did they tell you the reason why. I have a bmi of 43 only. Good luck on you journey, wish you well.

Hello Cathy - Welcome, we're in the same boat - my predetermination letter for approval was sent to the insurance co. on Monday. I'm so nervious, i'm told to wait two weeks for a response. If I hear nothing, that's when I start calling. Hope it doesn't come to that. I have United Healthcare. I might call them on 8/8 ( no patience) Good luck and please keep me up to date with your process. Starr

I received a email from my nutritionist last night that she completed my report and will fax or email to Dr. V's office on Monday. YEAH. I guess she had enough of my emails bugging her.
