  3. Wow! I hope I lose that much weight! ! Did you work out a lot during the process? I didn't work out at all. I just started back at the gym yesterday. I was extremely conscious of my calorie intake and kept it very low. Still do for the most part. I want to lose another 7 pounds then I'm done.

  10. Your not alone. My best friend had surgery and a bunch of her friends dropped her. It happens. People are petty. Be happy for the hard work your doing. Only people who have had this surgery understand how hard it is and how much work it entails. Short term and long term. Ignore it and after awhile it will pass. Just stay professional and don't share too much personal information. Keep your chin up and surround yourself with supportive people
  11. I feel for you. Just ignore it and hold your head high. They are jealous.
  12. I started at 240 and now weigh 123. I'm 5'6 and 34 years old.
  13. Found a photo of me from last year today. I don't think I look a thing like my old self. It's so weird it's like I was wearing someone else's body back then. Start 250 size 20 Current 127 size 4 Height 5'6
  14. I can't really take much credit. I've had complications and a stricture for months now. I've lost all the weight due mostly to this. I just hope things will soon get better so I can finally enjoy exercise and healthy foods. It is very possible to lose as much as I have in a healthy way however and you should set your goal weight at where you really want to be and not underestimate the power of this surgery!!
  15. I started at 250 and am now at 128. I'm 5'6, 35 years old.
  16. I don't really have cheat foods. I eat what I want but I'm conscious of the portion and calories. I limit myself. I don't think it's a long term plan to make certain foods forbidden. It only makes it harder to resist. Luckily I have lost my taste for sweets.
  17. I am 34 and we have the same goals. I have barely any loose skin. What I do have is in my belly area, but I've also had two children and so that plays into it. I have a tiny bit on my arms and legs that is not noticeable unless I pointed it out.
  18. You look great!! Did you have any stalls? After I lost 84 pounds I just can't seem to lose anymore ???? I still have 40 more to go to get to my goal. I haven't had any stalls but I rarely eat more than 500 calories a day. I'm not suggesting you do this- I do because I am dealing with a very very restrictive sleeve and still figuring out what I can eat. I also have very severe gerd. My intake is starting to go up however as I recover. I'm going to lose to 130 and then do what I have to do to stop the weight loss because I don't want to go any lower. Technically my surgeon set my goal at 135 but I feel I'd be happier with 130. I've lost 2-5 pounds a week constantly. Sometimes I lost as much as 7 pounds. I haven't been able to exercise but I'm fairly active due to my job.
  19. hello!! Congrats on you weight loss u look great how long u had surgery? I had my surgery dec 4th 2014. The first surgery I had was rny and I had complications (extreme pain) because my intestines weren't put right. My surgeon had to revise to a sleeve on March 16th 2015. So I had two surgeries and had to go through all the stages 2x. I am 8 pounds from goal in six months due to this. It's been tough but totally worth it in every way!!
  20. It is really something to compare my progress. I think I look much better now, what do you think? So worth it!
  21. I started at 250 six months ago and am 8 pounds from goal weight of 130. I'm 5'6
