Hey everyone, Now i dunno if this is a stoopid question but with the band what would happen if we got severally injured? Like if we fell off a bike or in a car accident or something along those lines. Would this have any effect on the band? thanks in advance Fee

i had 4 c-sections and 2 yrs ago i had a tummy tuck yes they do cut on the same as where the caesarean cut was but u will be fine as you have had only 3 but i was risking because i already had four and my scar tissue was not good. It is a huge cut hip from hip and geez the pain afterwards....nuthin like a caesarean!! Its worth getting though but i really should have waited till i lost heaps more weight as its starting to come back now.

geez my BMI is 45 and my weight is 113kg. Im 159cm tall dunno what that is in feet!! Is thAt the diff between our BMIS?? we are only 6kg apart but your BMI is 11 less than mine!! I dont understand why. Do you know why that would be?

Hey Cathy....sorry to hear Whats with these insurance companies wanting a full one year of going to a dietitian. Do they actually want to pay for the visits? Like Mandy said fight and win like she did. You can do it. If you have to have weekly weigh ins thats a bit to extreme. Find out more info!! Good Luck

5kgs thats great...keep it up yeah see what the other surgeon says. how much wieght do you have to lose? Your BMI seems to be in a nice range I wish mine was that!!

Jachut you still havent made up your mind!! LOL...its a hard decision!! Are you seeing the surgeon next week?

My DH is the same hes about 25 overweight too and wouldnt ever get banded to weight! He doesnt really want me to get it done but i am getting it done. I think they see it as an unnecessary operation and we should be able to control our weight by ourselves and not through surgery! Men see things differently to us ladies we worry about what we look like and whos talking about us and some guys dont seem to care whatsoeva.They just have to learn to deal with the fact that obesity is a major medical condition and if it doesnt get fixed our life expectancy will shorten with alot of complications with it.

You have lost 70 pounds in 5 months...that is awesome!!! Why would you need to take diet pills to help with this? Like others have said its probley muscle and your body needs time to adjust. Taking the pills would defeat the purpose of the band
