i spoke to my insurance company awhile ago but i didnt go into too much info with them at the time. my surgeon said as long as you have the insurance everything will be fine im going to ring my insurance company tomorrow and just make sure that i am able to get it as you said some might not cover for some reason or another....thanks for helping........fee

ah no not good to hear i thought they could do it together as i have read somewhere here that someone else is getting theres removed when they get the band put in.Good luck with it i hope it all works out for you!!!

hello everyone......i have private health insurance but my surgeon has told me i need to pay about $3000 out of my own pocket. Did u all have to pay this out of pocket expense too? Im just a bit confused as to why i have to pay this.I dont know if its the surgeon charging more or if this is what everyone has to pay. Thanks Fee

i had my gall bladder removed about 8 yrs ago. I have read on here somewhere that getting the lap band can bring on complications. Did u have this problem vinesqueen??

i have been discriminated in clothes shops and job interviews like jodie said and its all completely true you walk into a normal clothes shop and you could be buying for someone else and they completely ignore you.....then someone skinny walks in the door and there right there for them.This really ps me off.
