yeah just tell her that you are really trying to lose weight fast you are really motivated and watching evry little thing you eat. You exercise everyday and when your hungry you fill up on Water.Sound ok? Glad you are going well and must be losing heaps of weight. keep up the great work Barb!!

hi...im not yet banded but will be in a few months. My weight is 114kgs atm and is still climbing while im waiting. My height is 5 ' 4. My BMI is 45 my size is 20 -22

you said you had to wait a very long time to see him...well isnt that a good sign as then he is very busy and attending to alot of patients that are happy with him. I would be more concerned if i didnt have to wait and got in straight away

im looking forward to be seen as a normal person, walking into any shop and ahve clothes fit me, running after my 4 kids, swimming at the beach, going out for social functions, and just to get some self esteem back and feel good about the way i look.

thanx barb ok im seeing the respiratory specialist on the 26th sept and the dietitian the week after. i should get a date for the lapband sometime after my surgery that im having to fix up my infection prob a few months and once thats healed i should be right to get the go ahead for the band.....YAY...lol

hey everyone i met my surgeon today and before i get the band i need to have an operation first because i have an infection in my stomach from a previous operation. my doc wont put the band in until the infection is all cleared and healed which is a good thing i guess. Anyways i will be getting banded prob in 6 months time.I have to meet with the dietitian in 6 weeks!!! but all is looking good. I also met a wonderful lady today while i was waiting to see my surgeon and i have told her to join here as this forum is just full of supportive people and theres alot of info that could be useful for her. hi everyone, i have already had a tummy tuck done about 2 yrs ago and am getting banded soon...does anyone know if i will still be able to get the keyhole surgery or get a big incision cut?? Any info would be great!! Thanks in advance....Fee
