Revision Thursday

Hello All,

I'm sorry I've not been too active on the board. It is true that after you've lost all your weight, you suddenly have much less free time. This is a good thing I think. :(

Anyway, my revision surgery is Thursday with Dr Ortiz in TJ Mexico. I leave Wednesday morning at 6am (yikes) for pre-op. I am so glad to be getting it done. This last month I've been surprised at how much I've suffered with "last meal" syndrome. Things like fried pickles (my FAVORITE) I have a difficult time eating once I'm fully restricted, so I totally pigged out this last month. I've enjoyed the food, but I will enjoy having my 123lb body back much more. Its amazing how much more ten pounds does when you're at this weight. :D I figure the ten pound will easily come off during the month on liquids.

I went and bought a huge variety of liguid foods today so I'll have all sorts of things to choose from - which is VERY important. Liquids get old fast as it is - if you only have Slim Fast it'll get old even faster.

Mae

Best wishes on you revision surgery; you will be back to loosen in no time.

I am a week away from my banding and I can't wait. Haven't gotten the "last meal" syndrome yet but I am sure it will come. I am just working on drinking more Water, taking tiny bites and eating slower.

Will be looking forward to your posts when you return from Mexico.

Good Luck and see you soon.

Corgi, you beat me to the question! Yes please, why are you getting a revision, did you have a slip?

Oh, and you have done amazing work. Your before and after pix amaze me...

Vines, Corgi, try doing a search on her name so you can read her story - yes, she DID have a slip (great story too).

Mae, we will be thinking about you. Come back as soon as you can and give details.

God Bless~

I caught this a bit late, so you're probably already out of surgery, but I hope everything went well and those 10 lbs fall off easily :)

You've done so well thus far, I'm sure everything will be fine.
