Time4ChangeNY got a reaction from Dabliss111114 in November Surgery Dates Anyone? Let's Connect!
Night time was always the time that I ate the most. I am still feeling the desire to eat at night, but I wouldn't necessarily say it was a physical hunger. I always have had a difficult time differentiating between the two.

You can find genpro on Amazon.com. You only need a small amount and it tasteless. Not all unflavored Protein powders are.

carriekos... I can totally relate. The scale hasn't moved for me in 2 weeks. It is so frustrating and very discouraging. I can't believe I am eating so little and haven't lost weight. I am holding out hope for this week.

Sometimes I have to stop myself from eating and sometimes my pouch let's me know it is time to stop. On a few occasions I ate such a small amount and had a lot of discomfort afterwards and other times it seems like I can't eat a larger amount and have no problems. It sounds like some other people are experiencing this too. I will be 4 weeks out on Monday and I have been having terrible Constipation for the last 2 weeks. I have been taking Miralax, but it hasn't helped. I guess my body is still adjusting to all the changes going on. Is anyone else having this problem? I did not have it in the beginning, but I sure do now!

So glad to be home from my surgery. I am feeling a little better every day, and the liquids are going down easier with each day. I am so glad this part of my journey is over, and now I can move on to the good part. I am glad to hear that everyone else who has had their surgery is doing well.

November 10th for me. I am also both excited and nervous at the same time. I am also having a hiatal hernia repair and my gall bladder removed so I will be having a three part surgery. I would love to connect and provide support to other November surgeries!

I am on day 2 of 2 weeks of liquid only diet. Day 1 wasn't so bad, but today has been horrible. I have an awful headache and the shakes. I am feeling very emotional too. I am hoping this gets better soon. How soon did everyone else start to feel better?

I am now November 10th too. I was originally November 3rd, but they just changed my surgery date because my surgeon will be away at a conference. Do you have to do a liquid diet pre-op? I have to do a 2 week liquid diet. I start October 27th.

Time4ChangeNY got a reaction from STARTING NEW in November Surgery Date
After a nearly year long process I finally got my surgery date of November 3rd. After taking several months to complete all the pre-op appts. I was ready to go when my insurance changed. My new insurance required me to do the 6 months of appts with my PCP. When I finally completed that it took a month to get insurance approval, but it was worth the wait. I am now in a good place and will be ready to go on November 3rd. Anyone else in November or have a surgery date close to mine? I would really like to be a support system to others as well as receive support. Hope to hear from you!

same with me. My family still has their Snacks. I even warned them that I was going to buy frozen dinners so that I wouldn't have to cook and smell the food.

Did you all completely clean out your pantry and refridge and get rid of a lot of food before you started your liquid diet? There is so much stuff that I want to get rid of, but I need to keep food in my house for my family!

    Time4ChangeNY got a reaction from Ethomas15 in Pre-op 6 month diet plan
I completed all my pre-op requirements and was ready to submit for insurance approval when my insurance changed, It changed to Health Republic, and when I was all ready to go and just waiting for approval I found out that they required 6 months of visits with my PCP. This was very discouraging to me since I was all ready to go. The patient coordinator at my surgeon's office told me that it was not necessary to lose weight during the six months, but that the insurance company just wanted to see that I could make a commitment by visiting my surgeon once a month for 6 months. I finally finished the PCP visits at the end of August and waited a month for insurance approval. I now have a surgery date of November 3rd. It was just short of a year from the time I started the whole process to the time I got my surgery date, but the wait was worth it. I am definitely ready for November 3rd to come and to start a new happy and healthier life.
