  3. Hi. Great to "meet" you. I will send you an email. Thanks so much and have a great weekend!
  4. Hi Everyone, I had my bypass surgery 11/21. I'm hoping to talk with others going through the same journey (and time frame) as me. I'd also like to hear from those of you who've been down this road, recently or a long time ago. Like a lot of people I know, most of my family doesn't know I've had this surgery as they wouldn't agree so I count on the ones that do know; a couple of my family members, my friends, and the friends I've met here. Looking forward to talking with and accomplishing new goals with everyone! Have a great day!

  12. Hi Everyone, I am seeing my surgeon in 2 days to go over the final instructions and book my surgery. I'm hoping for 11/21.To say I'm nervous is an understatement but I know this has to happen! I would love to talk with others who have had or are going to have the bypass surgery. I am also having hiatal hernia and gallbladder done at the same time (honestly that's how this all started) and if I could find others who've had that as well that would be even better. Please send me a message as it seems the easiest way to communicate here (so far). Thanks so much and I wish you all happiness and success!
  13. I'm totally new to this page and not sure how it works. Hoping someone can help?? I would like to talk with others going through the same thing. Thanks so much and I wish you all the best!
  14. Hi. My surgery is tentative for mid November. I'm also having hiatal hernia and gallbladder done. I am getting nervous... mostly about after. Will I get enough vitamins/protein? Will I be able to keep the Vitamins down? Will I lose my hair? Will I be able to not go back to smoking? and yes... will I die? Someone said to me today "What if you don't get the surgery" and the answer is... there are more risks if I don't have it done! Really want to connect with others who are going through the same thing.
