  1. Day 3 done! Tomorrow we are going to dinner so I've planned out what I am eating, I know the restaurant the place and they accommodate my no butter request...should I take my food scale with me?
  2. I am so thankful for my evening meal. Today I am having a lean beef patty and today I need it. I am struggling and ate some peanuts, they are on the list of foods I can have but I am not sure how many I can have. I had about 1/4 of a snack package. All the sweet bars and shakes are too much sweet for me.
  3. That is a great idea! I am going to do that for my morning shakes as well. I was told to eliminate the caffeine from my diet. Because it can cause dehydration. So I am drinking decaf now. If you want to give me your email I'll email you what my nutritionist had to say about it.
  4. All of your oats are so helpful! I just started my 14 day diet today. 13 more til surgery it's so gonna be worth it and all of your posts are so helpful and calm me when I am struggling. Hugs!!!

  6. Could you have fruit as long as you remained under the suggested daily caloric intake?
  7. Is anyone else starting their 2 week pre op diet today? I am had a protein shake for breakfast and have bars for my snacks. Dinner is chicken and broccoli. What are you eating? Has anyone found any high protein soups that you like and want to share with me? I get tired of the sweet. Anything other tips are appreciated as well?
  8. I have had thoughts of failure as well, but how can we with this tool. I'm the 28th keep your head up and follow your doctors orders on how to eat/drink.

  11. I am scheduled for surgery on the 28th but get a call a few days ago from the surgeons office saying I have to pay $1400 more than what I was told. What do I do? I don't know how i am gonna do this I. Such a short time frame??? Any advice?

  13. Thank you! I am on biotin and sync and have upped my protein for the last year so I praying I don't lose I already have thin hair but right now it's really healthy. Whatever happens just happens I know my heart and body will be healthier and hair can grow back I'll get a cute wig lol! I wanna do prevention but it'll all be worth it. ????????????????????
  14. Anyone have any advice/tips/supplements in 1. Keeping my hair and 2. Keeping it healthy during weight loss after sleeved?

  18. Exercising also releases a happy hormones in us. Can you go walking for 10-15 mins a couple of times a day? I know when I workout I feel happy. We have to replace the eating/food with something else and something that is good for us. Remember Legally blonde!!! ????
  19. So glad to hear this! I am scared and go back and fourth but I keep saying. 5 weeks I bad/hard is worth it to be healthy again and be able to go walking and actually lose weight!!!
