I was not allowed to exercise the first 6 weeks. Even if you are not so tight you might want to be careful not to develop any scar tissue because boy can that hurt and create problems later down the road. Just rest up until your doctor says its okay. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. (I have scar tissue from a previous abdominal surgery... OUCH).

Same here... I had coffee the day after surgery THANK YOU !! PHEWW! I think as long as you can tollerate the hot sauce then go for it. Do a little at a time b/c you don't wanna upset your tummy.

On my dad's side of the family they all tend to be swelt My mothers side all tiny and thin... guess which side I take after. My DD who'd 4 is chunky.... she's like a fish, she'll eat until she bursts. I'm hoping now that she is in an all day daycare/school she will thin out. My Mom watched her since she was born and just fed fed fed w/out exercise (kinda like what I went thru living there as a kid lol).

I've never taken Phen Fen but was on Phentermine and Prozac until my doc said oooops...they are coming out w/bad studies on these two taken together..oy vey. I liked how I felt on the combo. They say the next breakthrough weight loss drug coming up is ACOMPLIA (Rimonabant) from Sanofi-Aventis. Reports about the drug's possible benefits which include not only suppressing appetite but also curbing the urge to smoke and improving cholesterol and blood sugar levels have people on the edge of their seats waiting for this drug.

My doctor told me fluro fills are $300.00. I said forget it just poke me :confused:

Never tried Xenical but I did try Meridia as part of my supervised wl efforts with my doctor and let me just say that stuff ain't any better. For 5 months I went on and off of Meridia b/c I was getting wicked stomach pains, so I would start and stop hoping the pain would go away. Talk about tootin. But just a reminder that these pills are supposed to be taken with a low fat diet (aka, oily farts) if your going to eat high fat foods and take these pills your gonna experience more skid marks in your brookies. IMHO they are unrealistic attempts at WL. Sorry you had a bad experience with the knucklehead dietitian.... tsk tsk.

ROFL... yes you can start a new thread or do a search. It almost feels like we're darned if we do and we're darned if we don't. How many gms of Protein are you getting a day? and did you know that the body can only absorb so much protein at a time. Hang in there, I'm sure the hair will stop falling out (and I dont' mean when we're bald LOL). Hugs

Then I would suggest not getting it. I also have a 4 cc and am at 1.5 cc with pretty good restriction at this time. I don't know how true this statement is but my friends doctor told her that he won't go beyond 3cc's in her 4 cc band because the tighter you are there's more chance of errosion. So if you don't need it and you can get away with less fills, I think your better off. JMHO. Good luck with what ever you decide to do. HUGS !!
